Have you tried pressing the grosgrain along the fold? gives a nice sharp edge. I find a light stretch and clipping it from the middle helps reduce puckers significantly, as does basting it down on one side.
I have Outdoor Research Goretex & Cordura overmitt shells that have had the Cordura unravel and shred where it has seams with the Goretex. Beside taking a lighter to the edge to melt it, is there anything else I need to do to avoid having the Cordura unravel & shred? Do I use a grosgrain when i have the edges of 2 fabrics meet when I am sewing them together? It seems that would make the seams far too thick. Thank you, Norm
Chris, how do you do 90 degree turns with your binding? I have the sailrite binder attachment on my consew which works awesome but cant really make a turn with it.
Have you ever tried this with a swing-away binder foot attachment? Great video.

The "S" is silent in Grosgrain, like GROW - grain - thought you would want to know. I want to start using cordura and your vids are helpful. Thanks

Do you need a "heavy duty" or special sewing machine to sow courdura?
What's the difference between grosgrain ribbon and Chevron ribbon? Other than 10 cent a yard?
Always cool stuff
Hello chris.

Hi, I am trying to get Cordura fabric to import, does anybody know a website or some supplier where I can buy it at a reasonable price ?
Where are you located?

How do you like that Sailrite binder? I'm thinking about getting one.
How to do that around curves without bunging up the ribbon?
Where do you source your bonded nylon thread? Brand and color, please!
Sailrite has great thread.
What machine do you used to sew layers of cordura?
Hi! I really need help! I hope you can help me. I need to laminate my cordura, I wanted to do it my self. Do you have any idea how can I do it?
Hey Aida, I don't think I have ever seen laminated cordura. Are you trying to give it a hard coating?
So is this an alternative to doing a folded hem or do you do normally do this in addition to a folded hem?
Wondering the same thing
Hey Chris, I wanted to reach out to you via email but the channel email doesnt seem to work. Is there a way to contact you for some custom work??
I edge with a 1 inch too
Is it safe to put grommets on cordura?
Renee` Hill
Yup. I make my own tactical gear and use a lot of grommets in the cordura. Holds very good.

What machine do you have?
Hey Magdiel, I have a Consew 206RB
