Thank you for the preset! I tweaked the output a little in order to match levels better on the material I was working on. VSM-3 is still great! On another master, VSM-3 surpassed the SSL Fusion Transformer, Acustica Celestial ME and True Iron I was also testing each in turn. The other plugins are great as well -- it just depends on what you want.

You’re welcome dude. Yes it’s good to know what your plugins can do, so that you know which one to reach for when you have an issue or you want to get creative. Thank you for watching.

Good work! Do you find any difference with respect to the same plugin in UAD?

    • @TheCratesMotel

Hey buddy, thank you for watching. They are exactly the same apparently. Same coding and everything. That is straight from PA. I certainyl cannot hear any difference. I have them both and use them both, depending on how much CPU I am using.

@@TheCratesMotel Hello! Thank you very much for answering my query!
Excuse my bad command of the English language.
I was asking you if PA and UAD are the same, because I understand that UAD applies oversampling at 192KHz in its plugins, and this could modify the effect of aliasing in certain situations.
      Cheers!

@@pablorabinovich I have not run either plugin through Plugin Doctor, so I have no idea if there is a difference in aliasing. I can hear no audible difference and the coding is the same. PA also code oversampling into some of their plugins. Again, I have no idea if they did with the VSM. The plugins were both coded by PA so I would imagine if their is any OS coded in, it is in both. Maybe try a null test.

All Plugin Alliance plugins on UAD are EXACTLY THE SAME.

I wuz just about to ask how one went about applying this preset, then I thought I'd give drag'n'drop a try ...

@@TheCratesMotel Yup. Also Pizza Box >Import Preset
A common thing with Plugin Alliance stuff.
Many GUIs not having the import facility.
Studio One seems to catch on once it has seen the path and the others fall in line ... 👍
I'll have to check with other DAWs next.
