He is insane
Watch this video at 1.25 speed... IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!
Not to take from Phillip's incredible talent, but is that Fred Armisen on bass?
No, the bass player is Sam Bolle
I think that one flew over but I could be wrong.@@1AnitrasDance

Seem weird him not playing “mother “
He's already put wear on this new guitar. Before you know it, it will look like Mother, lol
@@1AnitrasDance he’s such a monster player, I really wish him much deserved success
Has got to be a great time trying to play and sing while getting punched in the mouth by your microphone!
Master pentatonic scale
What this man does with a guitar is sorcery!!!! And I want it
Im going through some stuff at the moment l, and this man Phillip sayce saved me.
I almost got rid of my guitar I saw Phillip on UA-cam one day and was so thankful he changed my mind love you Phillip sayce forever and always regards tarksLeoEsperner ♌
Right? You can tell he's completely free these days.
Philip Sayce ! Power !!! Faster !!!! Killer !!!!
He's so much better than the horde of pretenders out there that get coverage in guitar mags and elsewhere (male and female). What are you LISTENING TO? This guy is a bad man!

How does that bridge pickup sound like that is a universal question
One thing that contributes is the amp, playing through a Vibrolux head (I believe) lends to that muddy distorted tone… plus I’m sure he’s dialed his pedals to enhance the bottom.
Easy. He is playing through a fuzz pedal. There's an Instagram live video of him on UA-cam explaining that. He also gets some glassy cleans from the fuzz pedal. Just rolls the guitar volume back. He is an open book and shares how he gets all his sounds. His picking hand and how he holds the pick are important too. He plays beautifully but violently. Philip Sayce is an alien and I love it.
It’s the amp. Modified by Tommy cougar, called „enchilada mod“ this is a huge deal for this kind of sound..,, the tone. Is in the hands obviously
Sayce is a guitar beast!
Man's music speaks to me
I wonder why he covers up the SVL brand name on the guitar.
5:23 OMG!!!!!
Rien que l'intro ca décoiffe.
Nice shoutout to Wes ! PS , might just be the heaviest out there !
Remember kravtz
mr. fuzz man
Absolutely crushing guitar work by Philip, but also a huge shout out to the drummer & bassist for holding down the bottom end! Definitely giving of the Layton/Shannon vibe
