I bought it at a local marine supply store in the bargain bin. Hope this helps. It is actually a rope sleeve designed to protect dock lines. goo.gl/maps/xn6oT3DXrUVGJUhn9
On the bowline rope is it 3/4 inch thick and the ends of the rope is that added flat braid line you added to the existing rope? I contacted the store they only have the flat braid material. Just trying to make it work to move around the canoe thanks
If the gflex didn't set up right away, you did not mix it enough. The torch thing is not for warming, but to change the property of the poly. Next time you outfit a boat, take a look at some other outfitted boats. Hang out around experienced ww openboaters, see what they are doing. Or even just lurk at a putin, chat up some of the guys. What you have there is probably limited to easy class 3 at best. Just not much of a boat, I'm afraid.
The shock cord rope keeper on bow is perfect, definitely doing the same to mine
Nice job.
Wow, lots of gadgets. Hope you don’t take a long solo swim and lose your boat!
If you want to see what it looks like when I flip it, watch this video.
