How can I find all the trailers and commercial vehicles in a given town? Streetview search? NY DMV registration records for trailers and commercial class plates?
I mean... If i'm being honest there's probably no one who would bother goin their anyways, sooooooo... Yeah! This was just a challenge for Rainbolt & a lesson for us to learn through this challenge.
Such a great walkthrough! I must admit I was smirking and occasionally laughing on some bits because I know exactly the pain of going through the endless photos on that website (and their Facebook page). You did very well as expected! Thank you for sharing, and thank you for the shout-out ❤
@@matiasmoanaguerrero8095 careful though.. OSINT is extremely addictive 😅 Next thing you know you'll be spending all your free time on this. Speaking from experience 😬
I REALLY expected it to take at least ten minutes to find the live feed. You doing it in under a minute (and confirming it in under two) made me feel insane. Good work! Scary work!
I think it may have been harder originally. There were two writeups of a solution in the results. That probably boosted the pagerank of the webcam since they linked to it.
Tip for scouring website images: Open developer tools, and find the option to "Save as HAR" file. This can used be with a script to scrape the images as it's a JSON file. There's tools built to do it but it's fun to write your own. You can also just filter for images in the dev tools network tab and open them one by one there.
I'm pretty sure they wouldn't show anything as its not a popular website and nobody would archive any snapshots even if there would be there would be small chance of it being the picture of the car.
This guy could have been the worlds best doxxer and just found where everyone lived for malicious intent, but no; instead, he let people challenge him to find places, became a geoguessr GOD and let people know how to keep safe when taking pictures online :)

Isn’t it possible you just found another model of the same car in that company’s fleet? Insanely cool video as always but I’m not sure how you can be positive that’s the same car.
Is that truck on 7:25 not that truck he needs to find for the blue square? He passed over it 2x I found the truck on their web page 100% sure because it has a red hose attached to the box/tank in the bed although the license plate is too far to define the numbers, you can tell its the right truck. It's in the same set of photos he found the other truck on their website.
I'm hoping you can answer a question that has been on my mind since I saw a movie when I was a boy ~50 years ago. Toward the end of a very well known movie titled "Day of the Jackal" (1973) there is a scene with what I believe is legitimate graveyard burial spliced into the movie plot. Judging from the context of the movie and the Crosses of Lorraine in the cemetery shown in the scene I believe it's somewhere in France -possibly in or around Paris? The Challenge: What is the exact location and name on the headstone of the grave. The scene can be found in this 3 minute clip from: ua-cam.com/video/C5SuA0EKY8M/v-deo.html
Its crazy that if I read this exact same thing in a book about a detective trying to find a vehicle from a photo, I'd call BS and think the book wasn't being realistic enough :/
rainbolt in two days someone : shows litteraly 1000x zoom of a dna of organism yep its greenland's Niviarsiaq that grows on small stone hill located at Latitude: 69° 38' 7.50" N Longitude: -42° 10' 25.29" W
Anytime he says "subscribe, or dont..." and then stares at camera before saying "I'll see you guys next time" I can't help but feel threatened. Bro is LITERALLY, gonna see me next time. IN PERSON.
Challenge: I have a photo in my mind, I'm imagining it, it was made in a dark room with a defective polaroid camera. The photo was developed literally on the surface of the sun, so it was kinda bright. Rainbolt: It was 1844, it was in the city of Zwolle in the Netherlands, at the Arnhemsestraatweg 69, 2nd floor, back room facing the south west. The picture was taken by the daughter of Elsbeth de Vries at age 4 years and 2 days and 3 hours. And 30 minutes. She intended to point it at a bird but accidentally made the first selfie in the world. The bird was a sparrow.
How can you be sure about having found the correct truck license plate? It's not unreasonable to assume they have multiple of the same vehicles in their fleet...
Somebody make him look for a specific word in a book that has that same word repeated like a thousand times, but the only piece of information he gets is a single digital image of a pixel with all it's metadata removed, while also making him look for the exact chair in a restaurant that the reader of said book was sitting at, and the exact microsecond the image was taken, while ALSO looking for the exact number of people that was around him, what the climate was, was there any puddles in the road? Were there any leaves in said road, if true then what is the quantity of it? Could there be anyone with flu around at the time that the photo was taken? etc. Surely that's easy enough for this dude.
8:44 this threw me off so much!! I actually spent so long looking for the exact van in the photo (I noticed small differences in the side panels). Also rip not having a facebook account, couldn't get all 4 (I tried making an account but it for some reason said I had to wait a day for verification f). Had lots of fun with this one tho :D
