Hey Logan! As a big comic book nerd myself, I'm really enjoying this series. Been going back and watching the past episodes. Looking forward to the graphic novel!

@@foxingandfiction Awesome! Yeah your channel (or maybe a comment you made a while back or something along those lines) actually was an inspiration and motivation for the idea of this series. I went to a comic sale you mentioned or somehow I was alerted to but you were there and it made me think, I have some comics I should pull out and read. I also saw John Douglas review comics and that channel was also a motivation for this.

@DrL_Reads That's awesome! I'm really glad you're enjoying the medium. I took a bit of a break from BookTube to focus on comics. I've really missed the community, so I'm back! Keep doing what you're doing, enjoying your video. Let me know if you have any graphic novels to recommend. 🤟🤟

Good stuff as always, I wanna try some content similar to this where I do some sped up reading and discuss what I read. Seems very interesting and I always love watching people read, no idea why 😂

Regarding the Ziggy ringtone thing: That was all a bit of a mystery to me. I never even owned a mobile phone until a couple years ago. Probably still wouldn't if some family hadn't basically forced the issue. 😂
Never heard of Magna Man. Sounds like pretty standard fare, but at least it ends strongly. The graphic novel should be a cool change of pace. The only graphic novel I've ever read is From Hell. Pretty neat if you haven't read it, though definitely for adults only. I have some other recommended graphic novels on the way if our rough and tumble local UPS boys could be bothered to deliver them. They've been scanned with a status of "Out for Delivery" every morning of this week, but I guess the roads are just too much, even though I've seen other delivery drivers managing to negotiate them quite effectively. Figure I'll see UPS again on some deep summer day of stunningly blue skies, provided that the heat shimmer isn't too intense. Or maybe I'll just drive over to the hub and pick up the blasted things up myself. I've already made longer drives this week.🙄
    Have a nice weekend!

@@BryanM.R.-prionic1 I once saw a semi truck wreck. It had to have dumped thousands of pounds of mail and packages. Your dilemma reminded me about it.

@DrL_Reads Yikes. Those can be nasty scenes. If something like that had happened, I would totally understand, but I know from the tracking scans that those books (plus some other stuff we've ordered) arrived at the local UPS hub and was loaded on a delivery truck on multiple mornings. However, the parcels keep getting scanned back into the hub at night, which means some driver(s) is quite possibly exaggerating road conditions, especially since FedEx and USPS have managed to get through. We've had this same problem with other services such as garbage pickup before. I once called the dispatcher to ask why our garbage was piling up, and she gave me a story about "our" road being impassable. I explained that it was actually almost completely clear at this point and that even the local elderly widows were managing to drive it without trouble. She said something like, "Oh really -- they'll be out there to pick up before the day is over." It ended up happening within a couple hours. I guess some drivers choose to sculpt in the medium of BS. Maybe it's one of those charms of life in the middle if nowhere. 🙄

@ Reminds me of the students who didn’t find it safe to drive in rain to get to their final exam. It’s odd the other 90% of the students who lived in the same town made it. So goes it sometimes. Hope you get your books!!

Another creator (I think it was LGR) used a $1 off Redbarron Pizza coupon from the 90's and it still worked a few years ago, if you find a coupon with no experation date and the product is still sold you could try that out!
