The other day I was playing Sherlock Holmes against Bruce Lee. (I swear this is how the game ended) Service Revolver ended up being the winning card. It felt kind of dark knowing that’s how the dude died in real life.
Another great video! Sherlock is definitely Big 3 for a reason (well, many reasons as you just pointed out). Good stuff getting this out so quickly and looking forward to your next one!! Now that C&F is complete, what will be the next one??
Thanks Zero. Well I suppose future plans will depend slightly on the results of Wednesday’s news drop, but the current plan is: 1) Cob & Fog Set Summary 2) Bruce Lee 3) Deadpool after he ships hopefully v soon 4) Marvel ??? If the Marvel sets aren’t going to be available within the immediate future then I suppose Jurassic Park will have its time in the spotlight. However the Raptors have been extinct for millions of years (almost as long as we’ve been waiting for Sattler vs T-Rex) so what’s a couple more months of waiting? 🦖
I love how in depth you get on the cards. This is exactly the type of guide I love. Also, I can’t wait for the 2 1/2 breakdown of each of Deadpool’s cards. 🤣
Thank you so much! I really try to look at every aspect/detail of each card, so I'm glad the video length doesn't bother you! Yeah the Deadpool video is gonna be something else 😂 30 unique cards is gonna make for a looooong video
My best friend is an Alice-main and there is nothing more satisfying than Eliminate the Impossible and Confirm Suspicion on Looking Glass 😂 that 4 damage is da best
Best sherlock film ever is Young Sherlock Holmes, may not make sense, but is the funniest and scariest. The best portrait of Sherlock and Watson on tv/movies is Dr. House's first few seasons. Opium addict socially marginalized, uses a cane, ruins his best friend's life, not to mention they even hint at it when Holmes gets a book signed by "Irene Addler".
there is actually now another attack which will not have its effect blocked by Elementary: Yennenga's Surprise Volley. even the "gain 1 action" part of it is tied to the Immediately portion, which just *really* makes Elementary not help very much there, outside of being a value of 3 block
Fantastic guide. Sherlock is becoming one of my favorites very quickly. How does Master of Disguise and Confirm Suspicions play against the Raptors? Does he get to swap with one of his choice? Do they each take damage from CS? This may be clarified in the JP1 rule book, but I don’t have that set yet.
Thanks! As much as I despise playing against him, playing as him is always a blast. For the Raptors, whenever something affects a player’s “hero”, it affects ALL of the Raptors! So MoD and CS are just brutal for the Raps, as they all take the damage. And for MoD, I believe that Sherlock gets to choose which Rap to swap with. I'll talk about this in my eventual Raptors video, I didn't feel the need to mention it here because Sherlock was the focus, not them.
You are correct that Confirm damages each raptor. And also correct that you need to pick a single raptor to swap spaces with, although only that one you swapped with takes the 1 damage.
I like both, but RDJ has the edge. I also like the Sherlock in that one episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold. If you have not seen it, check it out, Baked Goods! Batman and Sherlock have a really cool interaction at the end of the episode.
Yeah I am not the greatest video editor and sometimes this issue comes up. I try to monitor it more heavily in my uploads now so hopefully the sound volume has improved.
Sorry, I like your videos but RDJ is the worst Sherlock Holmes of all time beginning with his short stature. I don't want to see you die on the hill so I'll leave it at that. BC is great for the first two seasons. After that the writing goes off the rails so not BCs fault. As another commenter mentioned, Young Sherlock Holmes is underrated. If you haven't, then please watch Jeremy Brett or even the old Basil Rathbone versions or better yet read the books to understand Holmes :-)
Where my fellow RDJ fans at? 😤😤😤
@@joshuabart8855 Me too, the first two were excellent. (Thanks Josh!)
Jeremy Brett and Edward Hardwicke will always be my favourite Homes & Watson, but I did greatly enjoy Robert Downey Junior and Jude Law’s take on it.
RDJ for the Discombobulate

AM I WRONG THO???
Woah, hold on, we are not ready for such fast video release!
Btw the best Sherlock is OBVIOUSLY Vasily Livanov from Soviet films.
After a quick wiki search that dude seems like a legend
Yeah I had to channel my inner Sonic for this one 😂

I would ask what’s next for you, but I think you have something special to be revealed soon 🤫

Oh my goodness that's so cruel and merciless! 😂😩
You are *truly* a stone cold killer
Potentially even 7 damage since you take away their heal

Educational in a high degree, Goods. Your study methods and professional approach are top notch in the matter. 🕵️♂️

Thank you! 👁🔍
Love all your vids 💪 keep it up.
Thanks Chad 🤩
I use master of disguise in 2v2 to both move a camping enemy out in the open. To kill off a token nearby or attack the other opponent.

I think Yen actually does rather well into Sherlock and this is a great example as to why
Deadpool`s some card has boost value of 6. I dont think why but noone considers him as a true unmatched fighter, lol.
I have newfound views on him and I have now dubbed him legitimate enough to be in my next tier list
I can't enjoy Holmes with a good conscience because I feel bad for my opponent when I do well.
😂 YUP
@@BakedGoods I can relate sometimes it feels like Cheating a little...
@@BlueTorchWeddings it feels like you are just making up cards to counter your opponent

Ah thanks for the correction Zero.
After rereading the MoD effect text that ruling makes a lot of sense since it specifies “that hero”

BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD USED TO BE ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS! I don’t remember that specific episode but I will certainly give it a watch!
@@BakedGoods That’s so funny 😆 What coincidence! The episode also involves time travel which I love.
Does Confirm Suspicion work on Versatile cards?
Yep!
@@BakedGoods thanks for the reply and for the amazing vids!!!
Does "Confirm Suspicion" work for versatile cards?
Yessir! Everything but schemes (they don’t have a value)
For me Jeremy Brett is the true Holmes.
GAME IS AFOOT COME ON YOU CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS SHIT HEEHEE
I prefer Benny Cumby
😩😩😩
I really wish you would speak up in your videos. Even at full volume, you're barely louder than an open faucet.
