Hi Marc. Looks like you have fun with the Severne Pyro in sideon conditions. The conditions are similar to the Danish North Sea, were I love to surf. I think you are more than happy with the Pyro? I am looking for a fast planing board and the Pyro is probably my 1. wish. My weight is 86-88 kilos and I use Severne Blade 5,5 5,0 and 4,5. Please write some experience you have with your new board.
Hi Carsten the board is great but i would not buy it for the new price. i got a big board 105 liter from flikka on order for 2000€. the 93 liter i bought second hand from a mate for a good price and it is my strongwind board. i do love it!!! it came as a thruster and it was a bit jumpy in choppy conditions. i changed it to quad setup and now i love it even more, much more smooth in chop. it is fast and it turns on a dime. i'm 92 kg and the 93 would be perfect as a only board. the 87 would be my prefered pyro as my hardwind board. but oke not for 2600€... if it is your only board go for the 87 liter at your weight. if you like a bit more float the 93 will not disapoint you. it is still radical to sail. hope my review is usefull. have fun and hang loose!
@@marclovessurfing5155 Hi Marc. Thank you for a useful answer. For many years I surf on a custom board from Quatro - Hawaii 80 liters single fin - a super board. This is also why the decision is difficult. But with less wind in between the breaking waves the board is not planning. Every windsurfer knows what that means ..... I fully agree with you, that new surfboards from 2500 € is too much. An alternativ is a Danny Bruch custom board. Also thinking about a Goya custom 3 My goal is to have fun with less equipment. One board + 3 sails ans one boom must be OK to have fun on he North Sea. No doubt about sails - love Severne Blade. But to find te right board is more difficult. I need to try before i buy :-)
@@carstenehlert8721 less is more. i agree but i keep my 2 boards 😎... i have to say that the bigger boards are a lot more alive these days. if you focus on waveriding, multy fin is magic. you won't regret it! i'm sure! time for a change Carsten!
Hi Marc, awesome footage and great performance. The conditions in wijk seem to be great in terms of wave ancle as well (have been in Egmont as a kid). However, it seems you use the Pyro 93 (what is your weight?) I am 79kg and want to use it with 4,2-5,3. I guess 83 would fit?! Cheers from Hamburg
thx Daniel, Wijk can be great. that day was epic. the waves aren't always that clean. my weight is around 90 kg. pyro 83 Liters should fit you perfectly. i love mine. especialy as a quad.
You use the S1. I also saw you on a Blade, right? Why do you mix and what’s the main difference. I am on Severne since 2004 and started with the S1 with 5 battens and switched to the Blade. Sometimes I am wondering how the new S1 (in the smaller sice) might perform!
@@TheDan1108 hi Daniel, i got the 5.7 blade and the 3.7 blade. in between i got 3x S1 for focus on waveriding. 5.7blade for a bit more power, durability and it fits on the 430 mast i got and on the 400cm mast (the s1 5.6 only on 400cm). i chose the blade 3.7 over the s1 3.6 because i can sail it on a 370cm mast. the s1 3.6 has a fixed top and only goes on a 340cm mast. that sucks; i don't want an extra mast length in my quiver.
Hi Serge, i change my wave set every 3 years. North superhero was a great sail but these severne are superlight in comparison. love my new sails and board 😎
@@marclovessurfing5155 Thats great!!!! I love new gear 😎😎😎 Some of my friends have SEVERNE and very happy with it 🤙🏻 Enjoy and have a fun BRO 👌💪🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻😎
Pyro board ziet er echt top uit! Mooi filmpje 😁
ziet er top uit en vaart nog beter. i love it!
