Spit out needs a change. Being one use only makes some sense to me because it has single use coverage for ANY type, which makes it difficult to predict (once it gets energy break so it won’t only run spirit shell). However 90 base power without STAB isn’t particularly threatening (even with shells) Especially since it’s single use, I think it can be 60 base power without an item, but doubles to 120 for a single turn when using the held item. This will give Loomala more offensive power, while giving it a stab move other than raging howl it can use to optionally chip the opponent with without taking recoil.
It’s good in my opinion simply cause I use Loomala to cripple melee attackers with spitting a volcanic ash at them, I can’t complain.
@@CliffJump23 volcanic ash is a good utility option, but unfortunately it still makes it essentially a single use buffed raging flame. Most of my issue with the move is it’s single usage rather than the base power, I just think Loomala could definitely appreciate the buff (with its 95 ranged attack it’s not much of a powerhouse anyway so it’s not like any harm would be done). Now I wanna try a volcanic ash set though, I’m curious.

@@goldenbunny-rc7mr It does! But using 2 moveslots just to make use of spit up is a bit costly, especially because it’s hard to find an opportunity to use recycle when the opponent is actively putting offensive pressure on you so you can’t afford to waste the turn recovering your item :(
Yeah if it could be used throughout the battle it would make loomala competitively viable
A change you could make for this set is to change out spectral shell for ragefull plushie and accelerate for spit out. This let's it get a free regeful plush boost and set up more speed or damage against everything. I've used this set and it works really well once any spirit types are gone cause that is the only thing that can fully resist this Llama

What of I told you I predicted the Biwarned set you used yesterday. Ik you probably don't believe me, but trust me. When you said you were cooking up a Biwarned set that was do or die, I knew it had to be v smart, health amulet and the moves being:
PoM, Psycho, Resonate, and Spectral (I also thought fade away could be a possibility, but I didn't think you would use it)
As for the tps, I knew it was gonna be 200 HP 200 R Atk and then whatever tps into energy to get you to 250 (I didn't know the exact amount) and the leftovers would go into r def because Protogon. What can I say, I'm just someone who really likes Biwarned

Resonate is prob better than raging tbh, your boosting your range attack with peace of mind anyways
