Anyone that says just get any .28 button dosnt know what they are talking about, just about all brands of engines use slightly different bores & strokes to there engines to other brands. As you have seen the bore is different even though the head you have is marked .28, the head buttons also very between the depth they go into the liner. Most different brand engines use different heights to there crankcases, that also determines the depth of the head button as well as the different strokes used.
Are these the servos that are supposed to ha e metal gears inside? Ive used a few of these in the past and they have gone in the bin cause the ones ive used had plastic gears and they just ripped the teeth of them.
@Haggard RC I would take one apart to find out cause the ones I got were listed as been metal gears. The main on that the servo horn screws onto is metal, the rest weren't.

Although the button wasn’t a perfect a fit it runs really man glad to see it all running. Can’t wait to see what you do with that engine next :D.

IV got that same cooling head but mine has hpi s-25 stamped on it instead of RB 28 besides that it looks exactly like that cooling head 💯🛠️🍻👍✌️
