    Nice transition at around 2:50 !
    Same pose, different spot. 😄👍
    ✨ And from that bridge onwards
    the path seems like a fairytale. ✨
    Only two lunches (Hobbits have more) ?
    That's not enough for a long day's walk !
    Quite a nice adventurous stroll.
    It reminds me of a walk of 5km (3mi.)
    ankle/knee deep in the river Ourthe
    in the Ardennes alone myself once.
    Yes, I enjoyed this video very much.
    Many thanks for taking us along.
    💯👌😎👍 ❗

    Ant, I just love the places you visit, that water looks so clear too. I'm not far from there on Monday as I'm competing in Sheffield, but it's looking like quite a wet day so I'll save the visit to the woods for the future. There's something mysterious about that blue brick, I'm also loving those railway bridges. You must have a fried egg in that sausage and bacon roll next time Amy, goes down a treat!!

    Ant I'm sure the railway is the South Yorkshire joint railway...

    • @2H80vids
      @2H80vids 3 роки тому +1

      Copied from the Wiki article "Anston railway station": Anston railway station was situated on the Great Central and Midland Joint Railway line between the villages of North Anston and South Anston near Rotherham and Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England.
      Passenger services on the line, which came under the control of the South Yorkshire Joint Committee began on 7 December 1910 and were jointly operated by the Great Central Railway and the Great Northern Railway. The Great Northern Railway left this arrangement after just one year leaving the G.C.R. to offer a service between Doncaster and Shireoaks. This service was extended to Worksop in 1920 in an attempt to increase passenger revenues.
      Hope that helps. It's not the entire article but Wiki links don't usually work in YT.

    • @irievibes82
      @irievibes82 3 роки тому

      @@2H80vids i used to live in tickhill just up the road and the line there is the syjr with a junction near Doncaster to the north and a junction to the south at Worksop.. I'm not doubting wiki.. just saying its a bit strange that bottom part should be called GC and mjr as it's the same line. Anyway whatever it is... Its all good fun👍👍

    • @robertmarshall6578
      @robertmarshall6578 3 роки тому +1

      @@irievibes82 Yes, you're right, the line at Anston Stones Wood is the South Yorkshire Joint Railway coming in from the Doncaster area, and it joins the Great Central Worksop-Sheffield line a bit further south of South Anston at the Brancliffe (sometimes Brantcliffe) Junctions, alongside the Chesterfield Canal. The SYJR (unusually) was built by a consortium of five rival railway companies, each one keen to grab a share of the coal traffic generated by the local coal mines. All this (plus detailed railway maps) can be read on Wiki's entry for South Yorkshire Joint Railway, and unless you are a hardline railway buff, Ant's positioning error of a few hundred yards does not in any way detract from one's enjoyment of this great video.

    • @robertmarshall6578
      @robertmarshall6578 3 роки тому +1

      Oops! It's even more complicated than I thought. The line from Brancliffe Junctions to Dinnington was the Great Central and Midland Joint, it only became the SYJR proper north of Dinnington. Confused? Me too. The maps accompanying the Wiki SYJR article make it clearer.
