It's not that. A lot of words are changed when translated. It's normal to change certain words to make them sound better or different. In this case, English version of Persona has always been calling him Pyro Jack. The translators are just staying true to the original.

To be honest, the English dub sounds much better for this fight. You can truly hear the emotion in Yu’s voice on the English version. Either way, I like it.

Can someone tell me what episode of the anime this is? I can’t get past it in the game so I want to watch it. I tried grinding but I actually hate turn based combat so after about 30 hours of gameplay of me trying to get there in time and going back a week and trying again ect I gave up.
I love the P4 cast's method. It does look pretty bad in this scene because for some reason the cards weren't in his hand, and there was no blue fire. Look up the awakening scene from Episode 1, that does it more justice.

You don’t know what his Izanagi is like. For all we know, Yu could've given him a bunch of Skill Cards and levelled him up a bunch so he could use it all the time.

It's been 7 years but no, Sakurai Takashiro who voices Rohan Kishibe and Reigen Arataka is the voice actor for Shirokuma instead, but the voice actor for the Panda did voice Persona 5 protagonist
Try to overlookin-game mechanics a little. Story-wise Izanagi IS his main Persona (hence why it is his Ultimate too) and the anime wanted to keep that in mind during the series. Basically,think of the anime version of Izanagi in the same terms as the Personas of the rest of the party (perpetually leveling up and learning new skills).

As someone who hasn't played p4 yet, I can guarantee that fighting a shadow baby in the tv world looks like peak persona. Persona 3 reload and p5 royal are great, but this just sold me. Another copy please!
