Great video! Could you please help? I just replaced a battery in my HP 14 cf0000 (the insides of this model are identical to the one you show in the video), but ever since the replacement the laptop won't turn on unless the charger is plugged in. And even then, when the laptop turns on, the CMOS 502 ERROR comes up on the screen. Do you have any idea on how to fix it? Is it a battery problem or something's wrong with the software? Thank you so much!
Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P regarding your question: where did you buy the battery, sometimes if the battery circuit is bad it can do this, we do get clients coming to the store with this issue often, and its 80% because of bad battery that they purchased. 20% a charge component is bad or weak on motherboard.
@@uFixTekI bought it off a marketplace called ozon (russian version of amazon, basically). It's not the original HP replacement part but an OEM, since HP doesn't make these laptops anymore as far as I know. I already have returned this battery that I bought and ordered a new one, with all the characteristics being the same as in the original battery (the previous battery's characteristics were off by like 2-3% (for example, the total capacity of the battery was 3420 mAh, 50mAh less than the original), which I didn't think would be an issue, but we'll see if it makes a difference). Anyway, thank you for your reply! You have a new sub now :) If you're interested in this whole thing with my laptop and this battery, I'll make sure to keep you posted. The new battery should arrive in a couple of days, hope it will be worth the wait! 🙏
awesome, much appreciate the support, i been in this line of work for over 17years and i have see my share of problem in the battery areas, name it i seen it and fixed it, i hope the new battery gets you fixed up else you will be needing to check the schematics and trace the voltage regulator and see if its working. also very very important, once you get the new battery, and installed , DO NOT DO NOT power on the laptop. when you installed the battery connect the charger and let it sit there for 5-6h with power off, its very important that you do that. and after 5-6h unplug the battery and power on and let the battery drain slowly by putting a movies or anything except full load CPU. and once its drained to 30% then power off and let it charge for another 5-6h and after that use it as you wish.
