Thank you so much for this. The toothpick trick worked great! I was so angry and frustrated trying to fix my glasses, but once I saw the toothpick method, I tried it immediately, and it took less than a minute. The arms ligned up even better than anything else I tried. Thank you!!!
@@md.mridulkabirazbro I was Soo scared because it was the fifth time I'd broken my glasses and these were my fav so I decided to search on UA-cam and then when I watched this video I decided to try the toothpick method an it worked thank U sooooooo much ❤❤I didn't want my mom finding out because then she would've killed me 😅
I'm here for the same reason. I actually resolved the problem a couple of weeks ago, but my frames are pretty loose. I may get brave enough to replace the paperclip that I'd used with a toothpick to see if it will make them a little tighter.
@@Athena_is_gothis the toothpick still in the frames? Has it held for the 9 months since your comment? I'm debating on whether or not I want to replace the paperclip piece that I'd used.
Thankkkkkk you so much ….son accidentally broke his glasses 👓 and I was panicking cause it was right before school this morning and of Course eye Glassess store don’t open until 10am ..so I open UA-cam type in how to do a quick eyeglass fix ..your video was the third in line but the first one I click on ..YOU ARE A GENIUS ..your video definitely help me this morning..my son is happy that I was able to temporarily fix it ..we both are extremely happy at this point ..he’s able to wear it today cause lord know he can’t do without them .. I fix it with the staples 💚💚💚💚💚💚
Thank you for your video! I wish I'd seen it before I tried for hours (literally)to get that teeny tiny screw into the holes. I tried with craft wire that I had at at home, but it was either too thick or too thin. I tried a couple of other things but ended up using part of a metallic paperclip, and it fit just right. This is sounding a lot like "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." Lol 😅 Anyway, I stripped the plastic cover off the paperclip; straightened it out; lined up the holes; and put it through the holes. It was pretty tough, though, to wrap the paperclip around the hinge area, which I needed to do to secure the clip in place. And, my frames are pretty loose because the clip isn't holding the arm of the glasses in place, tightly. So I may try the toothpick idea instead, since others have said it worked well for them.
Tysm. My glasses screw always fall off and i lost it twice, and i was about to glue my stupid glasses cuz i’m done till i find your vid, u saved me! The toothpick trick was too easy idk why i didn’t think of it be4… 😭😭
I just went to watch the bts concert at the movies with my friend this afternoon and my glasses just fell and the glasses arm went under the seat and I was freaking out throughout the entire thing because i knew my parents would kill me but the toothpick worked, tape was way too tacky for school. Thank you so much dude, I appreciate it a lot!
Plus trying to get a small enough piece of tape to wrap around the arm and the frame is pretty much impossible. I tried both masking tape and double-sided super glue tape (that's literally what it is called - super glue tape). The super glue tape worked for about a minute then came off when I was readjusting the frame. I cut the masking tape down to a thin piece but couldn't get that to stick well enough to keep the arm and frame together. I used a paperclip but struggled with it. I eventually got it to work, but I'm probably going to switch it out for the toothpick method.
Didn't think that would actually work but it did thanks to the toothpick did the trick. Now I wonder how long it will last ? And will it hold for a few days? How many times do I have to keep redo the toothpick trick can't afford to get new glasses right now.
@@surikibrom1324 A couple months actually until I was able to get a new frame for my glasses officially. Just buy you a whole set of toothpicks and use them as needed.
The toothpicks didn't work, it came from the top, I slipped it on the bottom of the toothpick, and put the glasses on. Now everytime I take the glasses off the toothpick is there on the glasses to slip it on the toothpick from underneath and rest on my ear to wear. That's not as bad as My method I use to do, using a twist tie. The metal in the twist tie works, except it's thinner than the copper or staple ideas of youn ❣️ thanks🎉😎☘️🙏🕊️💞🙂

Thanks it really worked i tried it at home by myself thanks a million
What if the hinge broke off the glass frame?
No way to repair it.
@@md.mridulkabiraz what if one hinge broke off
Try a toothpick and some super glue. It won’t close but it still does the job perfectly
Glad to meet a fellow veteran
@@md.mridulkabiraz oh so there’s no point into taping the glasses to my face
The toothpick one worked great, I just had to sand down the sides so it could go in more deeply if that makes sense
I tried to put the screw in again but it didn't work out so i did the tooth pick is so perfect thxs😊
What if the glasses bent down instead of the way it's supposed to be?
Cool. This happened to me this morning & used part of a paper clip in lieu of a screw.
