Learn how to play Marvel Zombies: A Zombicide Game starting with Zombie Mode, and then the changes for Hero Mode.
This is a quick and comprehensive rules overview. What I try to do is cover all the rules, including the latest errata at the time of recording and BGG FAQs in as short an amount of time as possible. Of course, while still trying to remain clear.

Does the x-men resistance box contain both zombie and hero modes, or does it only have hero mode? I would like to get both modes for the cheapest possible price, but I can’t find a good description of what’s in each box.

You need the hero trait cards and zombie enemy spawn cards and minis from x-men resistance to play hero mode. So you need both base games.
