That poor, poor first seal ... I think that was definitely the worst entanglement I've seen so far. It was bad enough to see all those horrible lines SO incredibly tight around his neck, but when Naude used the hook, it seemed to ALMOST disappear into the horrific wound. Then when they turned him to the other side, the lines just kept coming. I'm SO glad you caught him when you did -- it was obvious from the depth of the wound, and the amount of blood on all the lines and all over your tools, that he wouldn't have survived much longer. He has a CHANCE now, thanks to the amazing OCN team. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Oh that poor young bull and little girl . Of the 800+ videos from OCN this has to be the most heartbreaking to watch. No cute puppies or humorous banter. This shows the true reason that OCN is out there. Please team if you spot this poor boy in the future mention it in a video. My heart is breaking for these two and that the team has to deal with with such horrible rescues 😢🦭

I cannot believe how resilient that bull is. With the unbearable pain, bleeding and infection, yet he is still looking reasonably strong. Perhaps it is just the adrenaline making him run like that... but I think he will make it. What a great job!

Not only did that first seal go through agonizing stress and pain, so did these heroic men, as they tenderly and carefully saved yet another one. Love and gratitude from the States.❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸
I just wanted to cry! If that wasn't a big bull it wouldn't have survived! He was almost decapitated it was so deep! The second one was so infected! God made these seals so resilient & tough! Man, the removal of that snook line on the bull seal was mentally painful just to watch. I can hardly imagine how painful it must have been, both the physical pain for the seal and the mental strain for the team to remove the entanglement. This was a hard watch. Every time he twitched in pain I could imagine how painful. He was a strong animal to have withstood this agony. I hope he made it in the wild and produced happy, healthy pups.

The relief of getting those lines cut must be unimaginable. Naude kept pulling up more lines to cut like it would never stop! Well done to the whole team!
