I was in Barcelona in May and the fountain was closed due to draught 😔
Other than that, food was amazing indeed!

Unfortunately over the years the main Mercado became a tourists' trap which you go for having a look where unfortunately prices are tagged at a tourist rate too.
Prefer other city Mercados where true locals got the best at a regular price.

Yes the prices were high, but for the European guy who spend so many years in North America this vibe of bustling market was really precious to me, so I am very thankful 😀
Which markets are your favourite in Barcelona, or which ones are must visit in Spain?

@@FrameandFlavor la libertat market. Extremely local. Otherwise for tapas, gotico district is fantastic and stay away from the ramblas (for many reasons😁)

I used to shop at la Boquería in the late seventies, early eighties... when it was still a market.
      Lived in C/Raurich
You'd always see the odd tourist, maybe a small group
I find it funny this guy thinks he discovered something or actually knows anything about it
      Takes all sorts, I suppose...

Great video, good seafood rice made in paella (pan), but that is not a "PAELLA" or "VALENCIAN PAELLA" recipe the famous dish. The paella is made with chicken (and or duck) and rabbit. And it is from Valencia, where there is a small island called "El Palmar" with the most density in restaurants per inhabitants in the world, if you ever go there, you will have to taste also "Tomaquet del Perello" - only in summer - and all i pebre before ales will disappear.

Wow, thank you very much for such an interesting comment, I will research a little bit more about El Pamar. I think you just add one place into my bucket list !
      Appreciate it so much.
