JD1 is cool, but imo it’s more leaned toward those who like 2000s and down songs

Yeah, this game didn’t had much modern day hits (besides Hot n Cold and Womanizer). It was probably because this game was very experimental, they wanted to see the game works with popular older songs (to see how every audience of old and young people reacts to it), and they chose some songs from the dance minigame of Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party (what the series was based on). But since this game blew up, they decided to make a sequel in whre they added more modern day hits that appealed to a younger audience. And they continued as the series evolved.

Honest opinion: Strike a Pose is almost as impossible as Last One Standing. The stop signs appear every five freaking seconds, and it's probably close to impossible to not lose any points when the stop sign appears.
The only game in the series to not have:
Gold moves
Dlc
Stars
Songs released with the game’s year
Duets
Alternate routines
Dance crews
Trios
Etc
There’s no sweat mode either
Trios weren’t a thing until jd2014
And dance crews were jd3
And no point limit (point limit is 13,333)
