You don’t need the pickaxe for the Rusty Sword. You can approach her with 8 characters (4 of them being followers), and you all pull the sword out together.
Do you have any tips for defeating the elephant boss? I got close but got overwhelmed, I’m currently around lv 30-34 with inventor throne, cleric Osvald, armsmaster ochette, and arcanist partitio- I’m thinking seal of diffusion with sidestep?
I know I’m very late, but if anyone else wants to do this, you can buy herb-of-grace buds from the black market outside the abandoned village in the brightlands. Note that it’s not guaranteed to have them, so you may have to refresh the night a few times.
the sword effect sais that increases attack attaking broken foes, but i don't understand how that works. It only works with the attack command? Does it increase it permanetly like the axe? Or if I use any skill it gets the attack bonus if the target is broken?
I'm not sure how I feel about the job's skills being locked behind certain weapons beiing equipped. It sounds like shooting yourself in the foot if there are just better weapons to equip.
After playing around with it, I found that the Axe and Spear skills are pretty worth it. But the other weapons can be something else. Particularly the Battle Tested Blade and Giant's Club make both of those skills pretty dumb for clearing mob encounters or wiping boss health pools.
Great video, but just wanna add for you that "gaol" is pronounced the same as "jail." Don't feel bad though, it's one of the most commonly mispronounced words.

Use temenos and throne at night for buffs
I spammed some L soulstones as well when he was about 20k hp, each effective/weak type on the boss did about 5400, so it can clean up towards the end
Just spam Throne ex skill

When attacking anyone who is broken you get the bonus damage, this does include skills

You can equip a amulet that nulls it

You can still use the main skill that uses all the weapons
