This is a short little video about my latest painting called "Silvr Fjall", which means "Silver Mountains" in Old Norse. I made it in the winter (2020-2021) and it's been hanging in my art studio for a while.
This painting is now up for auction on my website between Thursday Sep 2 - Sunday Sep 5.

Silvr Fjall is made out of acrylic paint and my own handmade earth paints. In this painting I've used mostly charcoal and ashes and mixed it with the blue. These really dark parts (blackish) is basically only charcoal paint that I made from the charcoal from our fire stove.
I look forward to spend more time in my art studio again and create more paintings this winter. The winter is definitely the time when I get so much inspiration to paint.

The fact that the snowstorm didn’t ruin your beautiful painting is a sign that this artwork is simply meant to exist! I love it.

It's instantly getting cold around me when I look at it but it's not a bad cold, it's that cold when you sit next to a fire with hot winter wine in hands

I love how you juxtaposed the shots of the landscape that inspired the painting with shots of the painting itself. It shows how one gave the other. And to know that the paints also came from that very landscape also adds to how everything flows together. Even this video is part of the flow.

@Steffen P you don't need to feel a shame because you can't afford to buy her artwork how i wish i could paint exactly like that and i can gave it to you..as an artist i feel sad when everytime i read something like this when a person can't afford to buy some kind of artwork..i admire her art i can see how much work she put in to that painting...how i wish and really hoping that everyone can able to draw or make their own artwork so they don't need to buy expensive art..i don't sale my artwork i draw because i love to..

No, none of that stuff. Jonna absolutely cannot be commercialized. Although a small print for a wall would be nice!!! However, the beauty of Jonna's paintings are worth every penny.
@@PeacefulMind5746 yes, small art prints!!! I'm so in!! I see a lot of other painters do that, too. They sell the original painting on canvas to just one person, and sell the art prints as well. Sometimes limited edition, just 100 pieces or so, but sometimes also unlimited.
