Have the older version and loved it. I just ordered the newer version in full black. I've seen it in store and on some people and to me it looks bigger and better constructed in terms of size and compartments. Hopefully, it won't cause any space issues, so I'll have to carry less! However, these bags are not meant to carry sunglass cases as those can be bulky and tablet-sized notebooks. They're meant for keys, phones, pens, chapstick, power banks, wallet etc. Even with the other one, if I put my glasses case in it, there wouldn't be much room for anything else.
Awesome to hear! So I get what you are saying but the notebook is quite small and same with the sunglasses case. Not hard rigid forms but rather soft and malleable. I would argue that power banks can be cumbersome, but that falls apart once you see the plethora of options and sizes. I am interested to know if you ended up with any spaces issues! I really enjoy the design of the newer model but the thinner strap was a let down for me personally. Not a big deal though as they made it easier to remove or replace. Thank you for the reply!

I find that if I put anything in the front zippered pocket it kinda of renders the main compartment useless! And they should have not included that inner pocket/liner, that just gets in the way too! These were issues in my previous one, but they’re even worse now with this new version.
Just brought the Heliad 6L, as my sling bag, feels pretty good, but the strap is just bit too thin, I ordered a new strap for it, should be better hahah
Love it! I want to check out the Heliad but haven't seen it closely yet :( I think the thinner strap Arc'teryx went with on these is a little disappointing. It is easy to swap them out, I just wish that you had a better strap to begin with.
the key clip placement is really annoying, also if anything is in the way you also have to move that about, they should make it detachable to be able to move to another place if you prefer
That would be great! Love the idea of a movable key leash. The key leash placement in the front pocket was perfect and is really the only thing I would change of this new design. I don't think they will be revising this item for a bit so we will have to wait and see! Or look into doing it ourselves. I am currently using the Bellroy Sling Mini which also has a questionable key leash position. One day I will find a bag with the perfect key leash design!

I have the Arro waist pack and it's one of the best purchases I've made tbh. I work with conference in a distribution warehouse and I have to walk from my table a lot to inspect and sign off stuff, and this pack is really handy to me

It's a gem! So handy, I often put a fisher space pen or a thin multi tool in there.

I haven't noticed any issues. The revised version does have a thinner strap so that might dig into your clothes a little more.

Both of these are the black colour ways. The old version is fader due to being used heavily. Lots of sun exposure!
