Wow, you get this without a PC
hehe you still need a PC for Immersed!
Thank you for the video! One question, do you prefer to use this over your monitor? It is cool and all but that is the real question in my opinion. When you wanna do some real work do you use quest 3?
Same question here
I guess it can be good to do very focused work (less distractions), but I think it gets uncomfortable if you use it for a long time
Hey bro. Thanks for the comment and that is a great question. Ill be real. My day job is in tech and I do a lot of programming etc and for me personally the latency , resolution and having headset on for long period is an issue (might be cause I'm using original strap) and I can't actually install third party apps on my laptop so for real work I would not use this unless I do not have any other option available. No screens or it's really casual text editing type work. I have heard people using it to edit photos and program but for me it's a bit of a compromise. I also have privacy concerns around using third party apps ( i.e. not a large company like Meta) as I think they can see what get streamed onto the app

Thank you for the comments regarding the privacy issue. You addressed a concern I have. Thanks
Hey guys just an update on above. I managed to install immersed successfully on my work pc with temp elevated permission and grabbed myself a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and have recently been using it as my day to day driver and you get completley in the zone. Below is a vid explaining how I am using it but it is better than I initially thought. ua-cam.com/video/gOftqjMdois/v-deo.html
can i change the screen to portrait mode? I like coding in portrait thanks!
Havent tried myself but looked it up
Can be done via the Immersed Desktop Agent: Settings => Select which Virtual Display for portrait or landscape.
Can you do this without wifi? Using usb c?
Yup usb is supported and a lot better and faster
