RIP to the small roads in Maine that are going to be absolutely inundated with last-minute travelers with no lodging plans.
Yep I’m in Maine. I’m gonna stay right home!
No travel plans my ass. Who wants to pay $600 for a hotel
The bears will eat well
Half a million coming to Indiana not enough rooms to accommodate that number of people.
@@Abby-yx6cf especially now since he said the best viewing areas will be Indiana and Maine
Every time there's a celestial event, it's cloudy in Ohio. And I'm not even exaggerating. It's literally cloudy every single time.
Ohio never gets to see anything
Last I checked, it was cloudy around 300 days of the year in Ohio. Nothing new here.
2017 was clear
You will get extra cloudy on judgment day 😂
Clear skys in 2017
Thousands are coming to the Austin area expecting to see a total solar eclipse. What they’ll see is a dark rainy day.
Lmao
Same in Arkansas
I take it you mean Texas, but Austin is a common town name.
Will arrive in Waco tomorrow. Crossing my fingers there will be no clouds.
😎 oooooo! ... aaaah! 🤭
Earthquake here on the East coast!!!😢
In ny I felt it my apt was shaking Watch out for aftershocks
, so sorry to hear that I hope everything's okay
I thought it was the aftershocks from Taiwan ....😮
@@GoddieAshwoodCoveif that was an aftershock from Taiwan, Taiwan and everything in a 1000 mile radius would no longer be there
That's probably because of the incoming comet.
As someone living right at the “crossroads” of the 2017 and 2024 eclipse, I’m hoping it’s nice this time. Had a great view of the 17 eclipse but I’m hoping this one is good for my kids to be able to enjoy as well.
Missouri?
Makanda. I lived there and went to SIU! Hey neighbor. I’m in Paducah now.
Earthquake shook my bed. Better than any alarm
I love earthquakes but I've experienced small ones. I'll wake up before then if overnight
I'm in Hartford CT. Shook me awake too😂😂
Lol yes it is..
It happened at 10:25 why where you still in bed though?
@@lovelove-fm3nn
Wait... Is everyone supposed to be before a certain time, not sleep in, and work the exact same hours???
Happy FriYAY, y'all. Thank you for the latest update on the weather and the Solar Eclipse.
Thank you Ryan! You’re the best weatherman ever!
Im in Southern Maine, have been shoveling 3 foot snow banks today, and all day yesterday was removing many trees from our roads. Snow was very wet and heavy causing major line damage and power outages..
The storm was crazy. I’m in NH and woke up to thunder and lightning during a blizzard yesterday! Got almost 18 inches of snow!
😮😢
I’m on the coast. Got way more than I think they expected. It’s melting fast though!!!
Sounds perfect for 100k eclipse seekers.
I’m sorry to hear that. However, as somebody born and raised in Alabama, the thought of April snow seems so magical!🤩
Dang it...... We are headed to Dallas tomorrow.... come on clear skies!!! Just for FOUR MINS!
SRSLY FR
It would be creepy if it was 1:00pm, and the eclipse made it like a nighttime thunderstorm.
We had a earthquake in long Island scary boy Blessings to all
grew up in SoCal anything under a 6.0 is called a tremor. Ya just roll with it lol
Lol well I rolled with it scared the heck out of me ugghh was in bed whole thing moved and shook Blessings
@@louisewegman3791 Yup, they are scary. Sounds like you did it right though - in Bed. Take Care
Lmao @@sassyfrass4295we definitely cannot just roll with it. 😵💫Do you think the east coast was built with earthquakes in mind? Do you think we have earthquake insurance here? Or earthquake foundations? Doors? Safe zones? ☹️This isn't a fault on a plate boundary. It's a 200 million year old fault being crushed for some reason. It's pretty rare and dangerous for the east coast. We will probably never experience what the west coast does with buildings collapsing and the ground just sinking, but we don't actually know what to expect over here honestly. I'm not trying to be rude at all with my questions, just kind of laughing because how unprepared we are on the east coast for earthquakes. I didn't even feel it and I'm not real concerned as long as it continues to be a rare occurrence lol.
@@jmkelly7710 grew up in SoCal and no you are on granite for the most part. it breaks. Whatcha gonna do about it? Not much, so roooll with it. Do the best you can. Take Care try 6.+ on the rictor scale, been there, broke our home in half etc... everyone was in bed it was early. roll on
Took my son to Brevard NC for the last one. Day started out clear, then clouds gathered and COMPLETELY obscured the sky 1/2 hour before the eclipse.
Some local college students told us not to worry-- it would clear up. Right.
BUT THEN, 5 minutes before the start, the clouds broke up and we had a pristine view through the whole exquisite eclipse.
Five minutes after, the clouds closed over us again and the remainder of the day was overcast.
Which "eclipse" was this? The upcoming total solar eclipse is Monday, April 8. Maybe you saw a partial annular LUNAR eclipse several nights ago?
Never mind. Reading comprehension FAIL on my part. Still, when was the last eclipse? Was it a total in your area?
@@rachelwickart275Brevard NC was right on the edge of totality in 2017. Eclipses prevent solar energy from entering the atmosphere, which can cause a huge drop in cloud coverage. As long as youre not in a storm the clouds should usually dissipate. The goal should really be to at least find an area of light cloud coverage and hope it dissipates.
@@rachelwickart275 The last one we had in the area was the 2017 one. I'm just over the line in Virginia and wasn't in totality. I believe you had to go to South Carolina to experience totality.
@@thebigmanufacturer Good information. Thank you!
Storm Kathleen is kicking off here in Ireland, strange days indeed, maybe some "thunder from the throne" ?
"Most peculiar, Mama... roll!"😉☘️🇮🇪
I love Ireland ❤
@@laurat1129 You nailed it! Comrade Bob.🙃
Earthquake on east coast today also
Hey Ryan here in WV had power outage that started on Tuesday and lasted until today! This weather is absolutely crazy! 😮
We got inches of rain, an earthquake, and a solar eclipse in 7 days in the North East 😂
You didn't have a solar eclipse in the last 7 days.
Your eclipse already happened????
Lolololo good luck! Godspeed
We got more snow, a 4.8 earthquake, and on Monday a solar eclipse, if we don't get another storm, in upstate NY 😂😅😮
Forecasted wx and passing or coming w in 7 days. Still, wx is threatening
Thanks Ryan and the whole Y'all Team Family for keeping us weather aware and protected and SAFE🙏💞🤗💞 YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST WEATHER PERSON/TEAM AND THE ONLY ONE THAT I WATCH AND RELY ON FOR ALL THINGS WEATHER 🙏🙏🙏
I have had a couple of friends tell me about this amazing meteorologist… Ryan Hall Y’all! The word is out. You are the bomb! Thank you!
Thanks Ryan to you and your team for all you do! ❤ We were watching you during Tuesday’s storms and flipped over briefly to see if our local weather station was talking about our area. In the background of their studio, they had a wall of a couple TV’s and guess who the news station had on? Ryan Hall of course. My family laughed and said even the news station relies on Ryan. 👏🙌❤
Storms, earthquakes and eclipse oh my!! Stay safe y'all
Thanks Ryan
We’re awaiting Storm Kathleen tomorrow here in the UK 💨 🌬️ Our severe weather is getting worse. Had our first proper tornado warning not too long ago
Oh wow. 😮. Be safe
Ryan Hall ya all can hang out with my wife and I plus our 6yr old Goddaughter in Terre Haute Indiana be awesome to have you all come and hang with us even cook food
That system you talked about at the start of the video brought us in northern New England a solid 12-20" of snow!
There’s really no point in getting excited for stuff where I live it never pulls through, cool stuff ghosts us so much
Right!!! They need to make some machine that can push clouds out the way lol
@@Luisjoel21perhaps a giant fan
we had to drive all the way up to the mountains just to see it perfectly here in NC back in 17 😅 i’d kill for it to happen here again tho
@@Luisjoel21 Hmm...could buy some pipes and make a Wilhelm Reich Cloudbuster.
I’m in Little Rock, still pretty calm here today. We’re expecting a lot of visitors ❣️
Woooooooo I'm in Maine and got my glasses ready
Me too!!! 😎
Stop by my house in Sidney Ohio, I got a wide open acre back yard and I'm grilling ribs and I won't charge you to park lol
Look me up in Greene County, Indiana. The path travels perfectly over where I live in Bloomfield. I've got 17 acres you can park your rigs on and get stellar footage!
It will be better than Terra Haute or Indy, to many buildings and people there.
I'm in Jackson County and I can only hope the clouds won't ruin things.
@mousiem4864 They have a big shindig set up at the hospital in Linton, but I may stay home. I was shocked to see Bloomfield is dead center of the path of totality and I'm about 6 miles southeast. It's going to be a crazy day.
@@StoicThrower I am right in town, but not down in the middle of town. I will be watching from home too.
We are in Eastern Greene county.
I never thought living in the mountains of nc would be like living in southeast Texas back in the 80s when it never snowed and hot and humid in summertime and warm winters
April showers will bring may flowers 🍻
NYC+NJ (epicenter near Lebanon, NJ) +CT+MA+MD went through a 4.8 earthquake this morning (near 10:30a)-and we’ve been warned about aftershocks
(Thanks a lot to the solar eclipse happening on Monday)
Hey there Ryan thanks you today buddy
We decided to watch the eclipse here at home, do not want to fight traffic! We have opening area to see it! My family friends is coming and ready to do fun things! Bloomington, Indiana is going to be Jammed pack! A lot of out of State is going to Bloomington! Safe travels!
Yes plus we just had an earthquake. Crazy!
Thanks for the great channel and all your hard work 👍👍👍
Northeast almost ended today .. New York still shaking
It was not cloudy at all here in Dallas. Wonderful day for the eclipse.
Central Arkansas here. Thanks man. 👍👍❤️
Hey Ryan ❤
I live in Austin TX, people are going crazy over this bs. National guard being deployed. Insane but thank you Ryan for all you do
Thank you Ryan ❤️🙏🕊️
Thanks, as always!
Thank you for the information!
Thank you! ☮❤🌞
Ny just had a 4.7 earthquake couple of hours ago
NJ had one. Many states felt it.
We didn't have clouds in Ohio today. We saw the eclipse! It right over where we live. It was magnificent! God is so awesome ❤❤🌒🌒🌒
Soooooo... everyone will be heading to Indiana now on Monday... thanks Ryan lol
Thank you for more updates y'all the best
I’m going to Alabama I just passed up Tennessee when it storms I saw trees were up rooted fell down building crushed but I don’t live there I live in Missouri
Thank you Ryan for always keeping us updated!🥰
The start of April ain looking to good 😭🙏🏽
Boy you'd a thought they would check the long range weather forecast before holding something like this ? "D"Oh !
Totality is at 1:29 CDT in Uvalde TX
Are you there? I hear acacia blackbrush makes perfectly clear honey
@@antitorpiliko I'm in houston but have a place out by uvalde. I think I'll fly to Bos then drive to Rangeley ME tho with that forecast
We're headed to southern Illinois/indiana. Maybe we'll see you around for the eclipse!
Looks like it'll be 50/50 chances between the Euro model and GFS for Cleveland. I was only able to get the afternoon off from work, so I make do with what I can see from my backyard deck. I don't need to risk driving out to Toledo to attempt better chances with all the tourists flocking here in the hopes of a good view.
We experienced an earthquake at around 10:20 AM this morning, and then we also experienced an aftershock around 6:05 PM. There was another insignificant aftershock, but I was too far away to feel it.
You’re coming my way! Looks very hopeful for me
I'm buried already in Northern Maine... no more snow, please.
Come on up to Norwalk Ohio Ryan, you can watch it from my front yard
Thanks from Southern Illinois but man I'm ready for 80 and sunshine.
Oh good, severe storms, then sweltering heat, then more severe storms…
Someone… SOMEWHERE in the 15% risk zone will get the shot of a lifetime with totality & a tornado in the background. And it will be the greatest photo to ever be taken.
Thank you Ryan! You are the best!
HEY RYAN TODAY MY HOUSE IN NY STATE HAS TREMERED AT 2 SEPERATE TIMES 1 FOR ABOUT 15 SECONDS ABOUT 10:20AM & THE NEXT WAS LIKE FOR 5 SECONDS JUST AT 6:00PM, NO DAMAGE THANK THE LORD BUT THAT WAS A WIERED FEELING😮 😊
We are driving from Nashsville to Vincennes, IN to the home of an acquaintance. Drive the storm chaser truck in the event we cross paths along the way.
I live in a part of Indiana that will clear during the eclipse. It will also be one of the best spots for totality
My friend, you just saved the eclipse for me. I’ll be driving from Virginia to Indiana to catch the eclipse. Fingers crossed for good skies!
Will probably be ordering the WeatherFlow system soon, and cannot wait! In my area here in West Virginia we’ve been relying on satellite internet. Well we now have fiber optic broadband and I can finally get the weather station.
Thanks Ryan!
South Dakota? ….. very nice to see you watching out for us
Come to Defiance Ohio shows little to no cloud coverage and there are events during it as well.
lol! No! No more people coming to Defiance lmao!
Looks like I may be able to sow my garden seeds in west central Illinois outside early this weekend!
Every one should also get ready for the cicadas, it's gonna be a lot more than what most people can imagine. trillions of them...
We had them here very bad ,few yrs ago.hate the noise they make .
So very glad when they finally stopped .
Yeah, not looking forward to that
Come on up to Columbus,IN for the eclipse. I'd love to say hey!
It is supposed to be sunny in Plattsburgh NY.
I am sooo excited.
Ryan you and the Y’all squad do amazing things and I appreciate you all.
cmon up to Celina, OH…. we are almost dead center of the path , plus our fairgrounds is having a huge festival for the events!
Well, if anyone is a James Dean fan the total eclipse will be occurring over his hometown, Fairmount Indiana.
Dont come to maine, no parking, no bathrooms, no space
Here's hoping people with animals get a film or 2 of their
animal reactions to the Eclipse.
Closer it gets the more lovingly
AND playful animals are .😊
thanks Ryan
Keep up the good work y'all.
Thank Ryan 💯✅👍
Beware of the quakenadoclipse!
Thursday all day, here in Idaho we had 4 seasons. Rain, hail, snow, wind, thunder, lightning & bits of sun! 🤣
Buffalo eclipse is sooo cloudy. You said it Ryan. ✌🏾
The clouds in Arlington tx cleared just in time to be able to see this freaking cool event!❤
❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Ryan, thanks for the weather and eclipse updates. You and the Y'all Team are so appreciated. God bless
In Austin, we JUST had a little cloud cover clear and got to see it! I think we really lucked out - it was stupendous ❤
Thank you Ryan for sharing All your expertise ❣️ You are my "go-to" weatherman.
We're getting 60mph wind gusts right now (Saturday, April 6th) before the storm gets here, in Nebraska.
Much Appreciated Ryan. Glad to Know that The Sky in KY will be Clear to See the Eclipse.. Getting Excited ❤!
Earthquake this morning in NJ felt here in Bucks County, PA. We don’t normally get these. Right now USGS is saying it was a 4.8.
Man, right on the line between cloudy and not in Indiana. 🤞🤞🤞
Thanks Ryan and crew. Y’all are the best! 💕
Love it. The eat coast finally gets to shake, yippee!😊😊
Luv ya, Ryan! Best to all at Y’All!
Hopefully Indiana does you well, Ryan.
Ryan, you rock! Love the channel and content. Peace 🤘 💥 ✌️
Hey Y'All team, I found you over a year ago as I was traveling through a storm. It was the Mayfield, KY tornado. Since then you are my "go to" weather channel. I've now a monthly subscriber to Omega. Game changer for me. Today I am within an hour of the center path of the eclipse outside of Indy. I am hopeful I'm able to stay in the area and experience this. Thank you for all you do, Y'All crew.
