As a Spaniard of Galician heritage this song is awakening parts of my Visigothic dna.
Today I'm Christian and speak Castilian aka Spanish instead of Arabic praying to Allah 20 times a day, thanks to Visigothic Nobleman Don Pelayo. Valiant warrior King of the North. King of Asturias. (Except for the Kingdom of Portugal because their special, but I still love them.)

Зародыши демократии, самоуправления на местах, именно из тех времен. Может потому скандинавы так сильны в современной демократии, что у них долгий опыт. И историю их походов никто не сочинял. Они хорошо побродили по миру с грабежами! Это зафиксировано у многих народов. Сами они относятся к своей истории того периода без фанатизма. Но и не посыпают головы пеплом. Не рвут на голове волосы. И не стремятся исступленно в "можемповторить". Они умеют отделять прошлое, от настоящего и от будущего!
