Only one child is pretty easy. Raising our SEVEN children (our 5 children and 2 foster children) through what felt like impossible grief of my husband's sudden death, as they grieved 7 different ways, was the absolute hardest job of my life, and I have a very stressful career (attorney).
I'm there with you bud!!! Love raising my daughter... its not hard... at all! 😂 It actually makes the misery of work and life worth it. They complain about the best part of their lives and then complain when the kids are gone... women...
I was a roofer in California for almost 20 years. In 2008, my youngest was born as the economy crashed. Business ground to a complete halt, and I was working basically to cover daycare costs. So, I reluctantly became a stay-at-home dad. What was meant to be temporary turned into a little over a decade of me raising my kids. It was a tremendous opportunity that I was completely grateful for, now looking back at it. It can be trying at times, but the rewards made it worth it. All that said, anyone who says being a full-time parent is the hardest job in the world never had to sweat in the heat or freeze in the cold for a dollar (with the exception of those with special-needs children).
My sister is a doctor. She specializes in geriatrics - taking care of old people. She is emotionally sensitive. Most of her patients end up dying on her watch - because people inevitably die. Even if she cures some of her patients they end up one day coming back at the end of their lives and she will watch over them and comfort their family during their last hours. Because death cannot be avoided and if her average patient's age is 80 you cannot avoid this fact. She is crushed every day. Motherhood is nowhere near as emotionally challenging as having people you fight for constantly die on you but you still need to go on because there are more people you need to take care of.
My youngest spent 2 weeks in a children's hospital because of RSV at 2 months. Several kids passed during our stay in our area. I couldn't imagine being a nurse or doctor there. I couldn't do it. I was crushed just being there our short time

I was fortunate to stay home with my two kids age 3 and 6 while in between jobs while my wife went to work. It was the easiest, most rewarding "work" I've ever done in my life! And this after years of grueling grind at work that left me depressed and depleted. At home we got to hang out at the park every day, do projects, read books. And yes I had the house spick and span, dinner made, kitchen clean before my wife came home from work so that we could enjoy our evening as a family. The trick is to get the kids motivated to help out with chores around the house and set boundaries so you can get things done (i.e. make them play outside while I got some work done). That being said I realize its an easier job at their ages then say tending to a baby/young toddler, which is constant work. So really depends on the age and how you have your situation set up.
I appreciate you addressing the age aspect. The first 3-4 months can feel like over 6 months due to all the lack of sleep and physical demands. I'm really looking forward to more rewarding part of motherhood when outside play can be trusted and chores can become a thing for my lil family. I'm very happy that you got to have such a fulfilling experience and recharge your emotional batteries after getting so burnt out with the grind of working for money. 13:26 I can attest to this. I was walking the streets of Boston MA, looking for a tobacco shop because I was close to running out while with my friend who was in the hospital, and this guy came up to me and I $hit you not asked me where I got my shorts because he said he really liked them. It was cool to get the compliment, but I had to walk a few miles to actually find one and was in a hurry, so this joke was hilarious when I heard it again. This happened back at the end of April of this year(2024).

As a somewhat frequent visitor of both channels, it was a nice surprise to see the two of you together. Watching this made me realize something: Britt and Mboyd may be the two most pleasant voices on UA-cam. Seriously, you guys should be hired as narrators for documentaries or something. With so many trying to be edgy with their yelling and ramped-up tempo, hearing you two is so soothing. It's like an oasis in the desert of hysteria. Like a vacation for the ears so that the brain can actually start comprehending what's being said. Which is a good thing, because you make a lot of points as well. Maybe that's the thing - those who have something to say that is worth hearing don't feel the need to yell to get the point across. Therefore, we should all pay more attention to the soft-speakers of the world. (And Bill Burr.)

Seeing you both together is great, amazing, wonderful, very interesting and entertaining. You definitely should do it quite often in any of your channels or even creating a new channel in which you upload all sorts of videos of you both together. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷
Most emotionally challenging job. I don't know... Crime Scene Investigators might have something to say about that. Imagine being the guy who has to go through all of Diddy's videos.
Doesn't FBI replace the guys who watch child CP for their cases like every 3 months because they quit? Don't think any of them is going "Yeah I wanna watch more of those tapes", but I've heard women say "Let's have one more"
his latest special at the end he talks about how unreal it is to be a daughter dad and talks about how when he looks at her that he wants to give her all the love in the world that he never had and he says thank you to the crowd then it shows images of him and Nia and his little girl he carries her out on his shoulders and lets her look at the stage and everything it's beautiful he has 2 since then now too!!
I'm a single mom of a disabled since birth 15 year old. He has cerebral palsy, Lennox Gestaut syndrome (epilepsy), non verbal autism, obstructive sleep apnea, and more. He is such a sweet kid, I never thought I'd become a nurse but here I am. It IS emotionaly difficult, emotionally taxing, the decisions I have to make are difficult, but what I would find to be a tough job, is getting up in stage telling jokes to thousands of people. That's a job I would not want to do. Or even public speaking, that's terrifying. 😂 Also, I'm a very pale redhead, if I'm in the sun for more than 5 minutes, I get hives lol roofing would kill me 😂 It's all about your perspective and skills and skin opacity lmao.
My nephews are welders at the Jacksonville Shipyards, That is a crazy hard job. They are constantly in tight placed dealing with temperatures that you could cook an egg on from the moment they enter work to the moment they leave. Imagine how difficult it is to maneuver something like an i-beam threw a small hole at one end of a submarine where equipment to help move the thing is too big to fit, and trying to get it 2/1 way threw the boat before welding it into place. They get paid well but man do they work hard.
I would argue the electrician who makes sure your house has the power to do a ton of your work for you, is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than the mother of a child. The father also exists. How well could a mother do her job without electricity? Who amongst them would even want to find out?
@@TylerHollywoodJB My grandmother raised her 7 children in a two room log cabin that my grandfather built. one giant two sided fireplace in the center, no electricity, hand pumped well a hundred yards away. They did that for about a decade in the '30s/'40s. It can be done. Still not the most difficult thouggh.😀
Being a mother consumes your whole self. You’re brain never stops…never stops preparing, worrying, stressing and focusing on everything but yourself. Physical it’s not a hard job, maybe just tiring when they’re babies. But it’s an emotional rollercoaster that takes over your physical well-being sometimes. From a stay at home mom for the past 22 years
This is harsh but that is your job. It’s rewarding when you see your child make the correct decisions based on morals you instilled as the child matured.
Strange, it’s almost like fathers don’t have the same feelings towards their children’s well being. While having to protect their children during a time that men are told it’s wrong.
people who work at the Family Law courthouses have to read and see pictures of how infants were tortured by terrible parents. There was a report of a woman who repeatedly stabbed her baby for biting her trying to breast feed.
The last few years I've worked as a tanker driver in a team of grinding roads. Weather ranging from 126° to a negative 20 when it's too cold to be working
10 Jobs that are more emotionally challenging than motherhood off the top of my head 1.) Doctor/Nurse 2.) Therapist 3.) Soldier 4.) Teacher 5.) Suicide Hotline Operator 6.) Police Officer 7.) Mortician 8.) Elderly care provider 9.) Veterinarian 10.) Industrial Cleaners (If you know you know.)
agreed. I schooled my sister who was a childless teacher when she said "I have your kids longer than you do." I reminded her she only has them 6 hours day 5 days a week for 9 months, a parent has them 24/7 for life. Even when they are in school, parents are on call to have to pick them up should the teacher be overwhelmed.
an underwater welder has 6 hours to sleep every night. what's your point? If your point is that it's emotionally difficult, literally everybody knows that, and it was acknowledged in this video. The discussion is whether or not it is the MOST difficult job on the planet, which is laughable at best.
I agree with you cousin.... it is undervalued and underappreciated, hence why modern feminism treats it as slavery. Being a mother is a VERY VERY IMPORTANT role in society
The people who watch CP tapes for federal cases, I'd argue, are underappreciated - and most importantly, one of the most forgotten. No one thinks of them, no one hears from them. But you can always find a mother that is complaining because she decided to get pumped.
It's an important role....but not a difficult one. Why is motherhood so difficult for single mom's......but so easy for single dads? I raise three kids on my own, it's easy.
Also, women are literally built for motherhood. It comes naturally to them and it's what they want to do. This scenario makes any job feel less difficult. If you did NOT want to be a parent, and had to raise children, that would be sheer hell.
My wife was a stay at home Mom. I'm a now retired lawyer. Our 4 kids are raised now. I agree that being a mom is the hardest job because of all that it entails. I dreaded when the wife would spend a week out of town with her sisters and I had to be the mom. Feed the kids, dress the kids, housework, stop one kid from getting into the flour canister, now another kid is climbing on the counter to get cookies, another one just opened the fridge and has poured all the milk on the floor, the kid got into the flour canister, another kid teamed up with big sister to drag the vacuum outside and is chasing the dog while screaming and swinging the hose, back into the flour, kid tries to lap up the milk on the floor because she's not a girl, she's a dog...holy crap, it's only 8:30AM...haven't had the chance to start housework. What's for lunch? You just had breakfast! Nobody happier than me when mom arrived home.
GOLLY, every argument made here is so rational and level-headed. I need an emoji to convey my emotions, and y'all just, like,......talkin the emotions. So eloquent. Very mindful. I'm so jealous hahaha
i have had a lot of hard jobs over the years, only one that was basically 24 hours a day, that was the time i was an ambulance driver, worked at the hospital during the day and took the ambulance home at night on call out. my daughter has 11 children and just to see a small window into her life where she does not get a break, juggling everyone's personalities, needs and wants before her own, i can say with a lot of confidence, i could not do that, feed them all, dress them all, steer them through life, i mean the issues with little humans are vast, i would like to say i gave her strength with my support but i feel its only 1% of what it takes.

That is the most grounded and well thought out response I could imagine a mother having. Love Bill Burr. Don't always agree with him, but his job is to be funny, so he's pushing buttons like a 5 year old, as it should be. Maybe the question should have been whether raising Bill Burr was the hardest job in the world, or not.
Good for you Britt, homeschooling your kids! Outstanding! Motherhood isn’t the hardest job, but it’s one of the most important. It isn’t physical work, it’s spiritual work to make a home and shape young souls. C.S. Lewis commented (I’m paraphrasing) To what end do all other endeavors exist, whether underwater welding, or being a firefighter, a soldier, an engineer, or a cop, except to support and protect the safety and warmth of the home? The job of Wife/Mother/Homemaker is the spiritual job all other material jobs are in service to.

I want to see the video where she teaches Geometry and Trigonometry. Maybe some Creative Writing. AP World History. After that, Calculus. Physics. You know. Basic STEM and Liberal Arts stuff. 📐📝🤓👍📓📚
@@willvr4 agreed! Get them into some karate or soccer, whatever. Get them used to conversing with other people. I think that's really what college is. Learn to live with people and make it through your classes and do decent.
I remember when I first started to binge watch this show. I had watched a few later seasons, so I wanted to start from the beginning and just like you I found that I couldn’t stop and I believe I watched the entire show in two weeks! This episode reminds me so much of why I fell in love with the show. Something about the way the stores are told and how it all comes together. Overtime just blows me away. Thanks for continuing this journey and I will keep watching with you the whole way.❤✌️
WHAT?! I have been subbed to both of you for years. I had no idea you two knew each other. That’s awesome.
They are cousins 😊
@@gregorygiles6430, that’s awesome. They are both so grounded and easy to listen to.
This just blew my mind!! I am today’s years old when I found out that my two favorite react influencers are related!! I love Britt and I completely dig you!!
Wow.... Your cousin's natural beauty is breathing. And that's on top of her personality and the way she seems to carry herself. I love your chemistry with her and would 100% watch more colabs
she has her own channel shes been reacting to things for a while.
I've been waiting for a joint reaction, and you guys did not disappoint!! Much love and respect to you both.
Showed it to my mom(73) and sisters (43, 41 and 40). Got geaten at 42. Couldn't even defend myself . And got a 2h lecture after that, ending in "why are you like that".
They know it's true or else they wouldn't be mad
Show them a mr ballen video he did on bell divers. Or the short, "anything men can do, women can do"
"Someone needs to ask me what the weather is"....this reminds me of Gabriel Iglesias's bit with Black Siri where they ask her the weather and the reply is "Stick yo head out the window" with attitude and frustration. Love that answer xD
Being a parent is not the hardest job, but it is a very important one... One of the most important jobs people ever get to...
It's not a job Lol
@7thswordsmenofthemist clearly someone doesn't have kids...
Wow she is gorgeous
Stay at home , home schooling mom.... Much respect. We need more of those.
Thank you both, I frequent the channels of both of you regularly and this was fun. Your styles complement each other's well.
Keep up the good work!
I am in love with this beautiful woman, i love her own channel too. Something about her just makes my heart flutter.
The Boyd family are class acts. Kudos to all your parents. Great job raising awesome people. Love ya'll! Happy Thanksgiving! Burr is great, my wife is too sensitive for him but what a relief he is saying the things no one says but thinks. Is he always right? I don't agree with some things but he still delivers it hilariously.
@@DeMarcheAdventures he is never wrong. If that helps 😂
@michaeladams6847 he's brilliant for sure
I am subscribed to both of you. For years, but never new you had a connection, so cool love you guys!
Oh snap, a great collab. Love both yall channels.
Britt is the best. I’ve been watching her channel for a minute. She is levelheaded, sincere and of course beautiful.
Bruh!! You and Britt are related?! That makes so much sense. 90% of my free time is spent watching reaction videos, and you two are absolutely amongst my favorite reactors!
"Thank you both for coming together for this collaboration! It was such a treat to see two of my favorite creators working together."
Punt the dog across the room, and the comment of taking your day out on it is a 1980s type of mindset. My mother would say things like that 😂 it's a time period type of speech.
Great segment you too.
Britt is an absolute Queen
Most emotionally challenging job.
I don't know... Crime Scene Investigators might have something to say about that.
Imagine being the guy who has to go through all of Diddy's videos.
Doesn't FBI replace the guys who watch child CP for their cases like every 3 months because they quit? Don't think any of them is going "Yeah I wanna watch more of those tapes", but I've heard women say "Let's have one more"
Facebook content moderator. The shit you don't see is horrific. They have to outsource the job to other countries with no trauma counseling.
I love both your channels MRLBOYD and your cousin BRITTREACTS, you guys are amazing tons of blessings for both of you
The collab I've been waiting for since Britt reacted to your video!
his latest special at the end he talks about how unreal it is to be a daughter dad and talks about how when he looks at her that he wants to give her all the love in the world that he never had and he says thank you to the crowd then it shows images of him and Nia and his little girl he carries her out on his shoulders and lets her look at the stage and everything it's beautiful he has 2 since then now too!!
britts face when he said they found it beside the LA river. hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhah that's as good as it gets. hahahahhahahahahahha
I would ask my mother how she felt when visiting her and she would say "like the weather", so you are bring back memories. Bless her soul. Thanks.
i have watched both for so long and never thought you both were related.....but loved the vid .....keep it up 😀
The way you interact with each other is wonderful. Love you both. More collaborations please.
I love it when you bring the fam on 😂❤
I especially love the Bill Burr tag of, “fair enough.”
That’s his go-to for uncomfortable disagreement. “Fair enough” and move on. ❤😂
It might be the most IMPORTANT job on the planet, but not the HARDEST job on the planet!
Fatherhood is more important than motherhood.
@@masterexploder6802 They are both exactly the same. They share that number one slot together.
@TylerHollywoodJB electricians wouldn't have jobs if it weren't for mothers. Fathers don't gaf about the cold.
Emotionally. Yes. As a Mother u r Always worried for ur Babies❤ n for Father's also😊❤
16:28 man you should watch black mirror to find out why you should not put a chip in your kid lol BTW it's goes DARK
Here’s the crazies thing about this video……..Oprah doesn’t even have any kids 😂
Being a mother consumes your whole self. You’re brain never stops…never stops preparing, worrying, stressing and focusing on everything but yourself. Physical it’s not a hard job, maybe just tiring when they’re babies. But it’s an emotional rollercoaster that takes over your physical well-being sometimes.
From a stay at home mom for the past 22 years
This is harsh but that is your job. It’s rewarding when you see your child make the correct decisions based on morals you instilled as the child matured.
@ beyond rewarding🥰 Best “job” ever. Raising children is a wonderful experience. It’s what life is all about
Strange, it’s almost like fathers don’t have the same feelings towards their children’s well being. While having to protect their children during a time that men are told it’s wrong.
From a full time employed dad raising three kids alone......it's not that difficult. It's difficult for women though it appears...
And you wouldn't have been happy doing anything else.
Yall are great together... defineatly need more of these collaborations in my life
Sorry Britt, you lost. A therapist to the criminally insane has a more emotionally challenging job than a mother.
I would also add soldier in combat. Not a lot of mothers with PTSD from the job
That’s right! Harley Quinn can tell you all about how emotionally taxing her job was.
people running treatment centers for fentanyl addicts, too.
I would argue many customer service reps have a more emotionally challenging job.
people who work at the Family Law courthouses have to read and see pictures of how infants were tortured by terrible parents. There was a report of a woman who repeatedly stabbed her baby for biting her trying to breast feed.
The last few years I've worked as a tanker driver in a team of grinding roads. Weather ranging from 126° to a negative 20 when it's too cold to be working
1498 views in 48 minutes. You know you need to do this again.
Love watching both of you guys, big fan of both of yall's content. Made me happy to learn you are related.
10 Jobs that are more emotionally challenging than motherhood off the top of my head
1.) Doctor/Nurse
2.) Therapist
3.) Soldier
4.) Teacher
5.) Suicide Hotline Operator
6.) Police Officer
7.) Mortician
8.) Elderly care provider
9.) Veterinarian
10.) Industrial Cleaners (If you know you know.)
literally love both channels! thank for the team up
A mother never gets to clock out and go home
Raising kids isn't life-threatening. Working on an oil rig is
@@michaelbannan9972 raising kids is life threatening. I used to work with the police. Had a case where the mom was killed by the son.
@@Kissfan96dr There are kids out there, deciding whether or not to kill their families, based on the values of crypto currencies.
Glad to see you two do a video together. Just watched her video and found out you two were related. Love it
I agree with you cousin.... it is undervalued and underappreciated, hence why modern feminism treats it as slavery.
I love this! Two of my favorite reaction channels together!!! *Chef’s Kiss*
What a great collab, and they're related? Awesome!
Nobody happier than me when mom arrived home.
sounds like parenting problem, not difficulty problem
Two of my favorite people to watch! Keep being who you both are!
Hey man, I don't think I have ever commented on any UA-cam videos before but I have watched soooooo many videos from both of you two. I love you guys content. Rock on . And I Britt is absolutely beautiful and amazing.
I was a single father..raised my daughter from the age of one... I had absolutely NO PROBLEM.. She's now 45 yrs old and will tell you I was a great parent.
Ive watched you both seperately react to many performances ...but this...was a treat 😊 thanx 👍👍👍👍👍🙏
Mother Hood Is The Most Important Job For You And Your Family 👍🙏💯😎Great Reaction
"He's not well."
That's why we love Bill. 🤣
That duracell commercial bill speaks of I have seen it once and then never again. it's like they took it off air.
Based and appreciate the honesty from a woman’s perspective who is also a mother. Thank you
Ha! I follow her reactions too. Would have never guessed but love the collaboration
That's so cool to learn that you guys are cousins. I love both of your channels. More of this please.
she is such a perfect audiance for this. like holding up a mirror lol
Britt was the first person I subscribed to on YT. Love her
Thank you Mr. L and Britt for the reaction Collab! 😂 Still funny!
