That’s in the case where you obsess over doing a certain set of actions over and over, like you have to close the door five times and check if its locked six times and if you dont do that, you freak out. OCD is when you listen to those thoughts over and over, intrusive thoughts is just something most people get

I feel like this describes me fully. My school psychologist also said that I have some symptoms and indications that point to OCD. For me, intrusive thoughts are kinda constant unless I completely occupy my mind with something else (studying, watching movies, going to chat with someone) and even then unless I am fully focused on that action, they can occur again. Like these thoughts kinda make me ruminate, they are thoughts I randomly think off and then obsessively stick them inside my mind. And they genuinely don‘t let me function normally at times and increase my anxiety a lot. I will need to talk about this with my psychotherapist, this was a nudge in that direction. OCD is composed of obsessive thoughts which in case of intrusive thinking can be you constantly thinking that thought which makes you worry more and worsens your anxiety which correlated with OCD since it is one of the anxiety disorders. It is like ruminating you are constantly stuck on this one thought and connect it with other thoughts and there are no ways out so you feel stuck.

Chains vid reminds me of the absolute crazy lengths me and my brother would go in a several year long game of tag. Anytime we would leave to go somewhere it was straight up war because neither of us wanted to be the last person tagged. It didn't matter what was happening around us. Family dinner? perfect time to catch him while he's lacking. Leaving to go to a friends house? Not before I tag you, don't expect to go anywhere soon. School? Tag. For me I didn't want to be the last tagged because it felt like bad luck for the remainder of the day or however long until I could get him back. This went on until I was older than I like to admit to still be taking the game that seriously
