I had my Cockatiel for 2 weeks now, he hisses at me, bites me, and goes away from me, why does my bird not trust and like me ?
I am always nice to him, and after I get back home from work, I move his cage and keep his cage very near me, with the bird in it.
I was told he's 3 or 4 months old.
What I am I doing wrong ? or not doing ? to have my pet bird to recognize me as his friend and not as the enemy ?

And at this point be more patient , a cockatiel can take from 2 days to 2 months so if u can make the process slow it will be benificial to u
