No, the dabke was probably originally an Assyrian or Phoenician dance that continued on in the region. Also often different regions and people have a different style of dabke, notice Kurdish dance is different from this one.

No, the dabke was probably originally an Assyrian or Phoenician dance that continued on in the region. Also often different regions and people have a different style of dabke, notice Kurdish dance is different from this one.
