- Toyota fuel pumps are all very similar even if they are not all exactly the same. In this video we disassemble a pump from a Toyota Corolla. It is very similar to a MR2 Spyder - the only significant difference is the placement of the fuel pressure regulator within the assembly. Particular attention is given to the o-rings that are essential for correct functioning of the fuel system. Pumps from other models including Rav4, Camry, Sienna, Highlander, Scion TC, are all very similar and can be taken apart and put back together the same way.

hey you dont happen to have anything detailed on the rear swaybar linkage on both sides as well as the rear shocks, springs, cap, and the swaybar aswell for the mr2 spyder?
trying to do a replacement on the linkage and the bolts turns on themselfs like somethings broke off so it free spins
@@arcticfox6933 Grip one side with strong locking vise grip and turn the bolt.
I noticed your plastic cap that goes on the end out the pump outlet (hat looking thing) is cracked. Mine is cracked too. I currently have low fuel pressure and wasn’t sure it that was a factor? I can’t find the part number for that. Do you have it?
I have no idea what part you are talking about. Can you please refer to it using a specific functional name, more specific than "cap" or "thing" - is it a electrical connector? Is it a fuel fitting? What in the heck are you talking about.
8:29 in the video. It sits above the pump outlet o ring. You call it a clip
@@johnfrank6341 gotcha. If you look at 9:46 it might be on that diagram.
