@@fmentertainment928 because she isn't a consistent tank in the early game. She needs a lot of lifesteal items to be extremely sturdy. That's why you see her more consistent in terms of sustain on the late game cuz she has most of her core items, blood wings/hass claws/oracle.

In most fight against "real tank", a tank Ruby would be dead before her team can get into enemy's damage dealer, I doubt her team can easily get into late game. If she got another tanky hero as a partner to sustain then it's all good. Depends on both team compostion she can be used as a tank but in most cases against current meta, she can't be the only one who tank.

Well ruby is a semi tank. She needs at least 1 lifesteal item to sustain longer, but if enemy has anti-regen then she lost half of her tank potential.
