Yessssss season is here. Was in Albert lea . Just went to test the ice from the dock and found people out in the channel this is an actual Mn winter thanks brother. Also what about Chester woods brother.
Yeah I think this season will be epic - I don’t see why we don’t have nonstop good ice for the next couple of months! Chester is usually the last one to be safe around Rochester… I’m sure by this weekend most all of the lake will be good to go!
Glad you spudded out and had safety gear, but I would love to see you bringing a buddy out for first ice. But awesome you got to pop some holes and catch some fish! I'm headed north on Friday for the first trip of the year!
Hell of a first trip out on the ice! Definitely can’t complain, getting bass through the ice is just the cats meow 😻 I definitely felt your hype , I cannot wait to get out and drill some holes, your the man Luke 👊🏼
Thanks for tuning into this one! Yeah, safety is always top priority! Felt good about this spot and gave ‘er a full send! Probably checked 10 other spots before landing here. Crazy!
Yeah fck that lol! I’m in SE MN and I wouldn’t feel comfortable siting there fishing on ice that thin. Id need a few more inches to feel comfortable haha.
Haha it’s definitely a comfort thing this early in the season! I felt good about this spot in particular even though the ice wasn’t the thickest. Always good to keep the safety stuff on 24/7 this time of year though!
I went out on early ice once. Ended up fallin through.. coldest experience of my life! Early ice is fun though. Great video!
Glad you survived to tell the story! That water temperature is NO joke!
Looks like a blast! Can't wait to get out!
Definitely was a solid outing! Can’t complain! Should be a good year this year!

Being that I am 290, I need a little bit more ice. Lol, good video looked like fun kind of jelly right now
Haha! Better safe than sorry is the best way to look at that one! Won’t be long before everything around us is 4+ inches! Coming quick!
Another great video dude.be safe

Bro, you crazy 🤣
I might be - safe, but definitely crazy at times! Ha!
Eff that! I’d schooch out on that ice with plywood planks on my feet.
Haha!
Lake Z good to go?
Definitely not at this point if I had to guess. By this weekend I’m sure it will be solid everywhere out there
How’s the presentation on that bloodworm? Vertical or horizontal?
It’s a great action in the water - insane tail wiggle. Horizontal on the hook no doubt!
