I spent time on HMS Challenger, a few years on the Sat Team and did a 360m dive in Norway. We didn’t get the big bucks just a new pair of Nike Air Trainers 😂
one danger of sat diving not mentioned: ABs in their early twenties suddenly getting big dollops of cash. I know a roundabout in Gosport was badly injured by one such chap driving like a sailor in the Capri he'd bought after his first sat dive.

I know the illustrations show HMS Challenger, but I'm assuming they filmed this aboard Seaforth Clansman?
