- The leaves are starting to fall so it is time for an autumn style vintage shopping haul, with outfits styled in the Dark Academia Aesthetic that we all love.
Thought I’m watching some trendy video with X million views. Was honestly shocked after realising I’m not. You deserve so much more spotlight. This video was brilliant. Really happy this got into my recommendation!

I thrifted several great pieces recently and just realized they would all fit into dark academia.

As some one older I love an academia style. Most of my adult life I’ve dressed similar to this aesthetic I just didn’t know the term for it. I’m an educator so I guess it followed suit. Of all the recent interpretations yours most closely aligns with the style philosophy of dark academia. So many turn have turned this aesthetic into academia meets clueless, which I’m not fond of. The philosophy is reserved and modest. Not wanting to bring to much attention to oneself because there are so many books and things to learn and that’s where I want my attention to be.
I say don't worry if you don't fit in 100% with the dark academia color palette. The red you've chosen works great with the earth tone palette. Putting your own spin on it is awesome, and we really do need more versions of dark aca with accent colors! Love your energy in the video, and thank you for uploading!

@@anemonenova8694 No! It was beautiful. Like a breathe of fresh air. Trying to get used to a new version of English than I'm used to, and to hear something familiar was lovely. (Also I have hair very similar to yours, and you work it so beautifully! Making me reconsider my haircut. Lol)
Great video! I loved both red sweaters, they added a great pop of color to the aesthetic.
Have you tried lacing your corset differently? There's a style of lacing where the bow sits at your waist, so roughly in the middle of the corset. You can cinch it yourself by grabbing one end of the lace in each hand and moving your hands away from the body - or if the string gets too long, hook it up to a door handle and step away from the door. No helper needed.
