I have been following your tutorials. Lovely work and clear instructions. I have some doubts. Iam from india. I have seen many videos where you can make your own decoupage napkins. When we do laser prints, colour bleeding is not an issue. But when we print on an inkjet printer, the colour tends to bleed when we apply modpodge. Please suggest remedies. Would be grateful if you can post videos to make our own napkins and how to use them. Thank you. Best wishes.

How long do you let them dry between each iten you put on..
I dry each layer for about 30 minutes because there is no way to use a hairdryer for candles.

@@SvetlanaAist Thanks but I actually meant I was wondering about the safety aspect of lighting a candle which has a solvent based finishing varnish applied to it.
@@cbrm3067 I used water based glue and varnish for candle, solvent varnish only for bottom of candle, and of course you can skip this step.

To avoid an unpleasant situation you can not glue rice paper paper on the top of the candle, the wick burns inside the candle.

Лаком на основе растворителя покрыта только золотая поталь на самой нижней часте свечей, они не догорят до дна.

Thanks! There are two different ways to decorate candles. Some heat candles to soak paper with heated wax. I used ordinary technique of decoupage, the same technique that is used to decoupage wood, glass, etc.
