My one issue with this is the Dematerialization ray, i know it can wipe a being from every conceivable timeline and does it without paradoxes, but given "timelines" and "dimensions" are two different concepts and the fact that Morty still exists implies it only erased Rick C-137 and all alternate timelines of his but not every Rick from the multiverse. I mean for Morty to still exist means Rick Prime has to still exist or existed. Meaning he was not effected by the ray. Also the fact Rick was able to return as a hologram implies he did get revived in an alternate Project Phenix. He just don't exists anymore in his own timelines/dimension.

The only thing that the D-Mat erases is the person it hits. Everything that was created by him, or influenced by him, continues to exist. They just have no memory of Rick. That's why Morty doesn't remember who built the ship, but the ship is still there. (Otherwise the causality disruption might collapse the multiverse.) That's also why the hologram of Rick persists, because it isn't Rick, Rick just created it.
At least with The Doctor it's in character for him to hold back. He still annihilated Ricky and he wasn't even fighting back the whole animation XD Omi-man vs Homelander levels of one sided.

Rick did not fail due to not using his own weapons. Those weapons were being hacked by The Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. Rick lost to superior knowledge, greater skill, (much) more experience, and better overall technologies. The fact that most of the Doctor's tech are not weapons changes nothing. Also, the Doctor is a passificist, which changes nothing.
If anything, its more impressive the body count the doctor has while being a pacifist. Rick gives very little shits and has pretty much no hope of reaching the amount of bodies the doctor has racked up.

I grew up loving Doctor Who but I hated what the Head writer Chris Chibnall did. In my opinion he ruined Doctor Who especially episodes that prove that like Timeless child. All that episode did was make William Hartnell not the first doctor and made the doctor not born on Gallifrey. I like to imagine after Peter Capaldi regenerates he turns back into David Tennant because I love to imagine the Chris Chibnall era never existed.

As someone who doesn’t watch both shows, the result is an absolute win.
Doctor Who the show actually turns 60 tomorrow (which for me is in just over 5 minutes). The next season will be the 40th total.

I actually did the math to how much time it takes to watch every episode, and it came around to 12 days with no sleep or breaks
