Yes they are proud, Sane's father is sad Leroy Sane didn't play for Senegal, but Sane's father blames Senegal for not caring about his son & not getting into contract with him!
Sane was born and raised in Germany, so there is no reason for him to play for Senegal. In addition, Sane's father is very proud of him and both have a good relationship with each other, I think you can not call this sad.
@@AlexGarcia-kn9be no paolo maldini didn't want to play in 2006 world Cup as he thought Italy was going to lose. He stated it was his biggest regret in his career
In most of the cases is that they are not working as hard as their dad. Keep working hard and please don't have patience because obsession is the term for success. Be consistent
Sick of these parents complaining that their kids don't play for the countries they played for. George Weah needs to understand that Liberia is NEVER going to a World Cup. And if they do, they sure as sh*t aren't winning it. So if a team like USA or Germany offer you a job, you take it. Don't handicap your child's chances at international glory.
I think the most ironic ones are the those who decided not to play the World Cup that time they would have won it! I think the saddest ones are those playing not for their country and I see it as a horrible act, but that's just me. Don't mind me, though Haaland is a huge example about loyalty to your country (he was born in England but he's loyal to his roots in Norway) unlike Mbappé (he was born in France but his roots are african). I think those ones not reaching their father's level are not that bad, as they are not forced to be that good! And I think Alf-Inge Haaland case was very sad and unfair but his son was one of the only ones capable to surpass his father! Even at a higher rate than Neymar and Chicharito!
Wright Phillips played for england, Manchester City, Chelsea, qpr for 16 years. He won epl titles. He doesn't belong on this list. He was a successful professional.
Andreas Laudrup was not as good as his father. But he could play. Unfortunately he got Reactive Arthritis and had to stop his career. Battled it for 3 years before ending his career. His half brother Mads was also playing but had a lot of injuries and ended his career age 26. None og them reach their fathers level
I have Seen in many sports where the dad is a legend but the son is an avenge or below avange player. In Haaland, cases is very rare for both father-son to be very good at the sport your doing
I feel like if you ever decide to follow in your dad's footsteps you absolutely must prove that you are not just as good, but better. Otherwise, don't delude yourself and quit while you still are young

Nice, I knew they played together, but didn't know they both scored :)

Yes. In the Rivaldo's own team

Haaland dad well, played for city
How about Thiago?

Kasper is not a world class goalie
imagine calling Kasper world class, a good keeper for sure, but surely not on the level of the greats, he is no neuer, no courtouis, no buffoon
Right now Zidane (GK) is doing really well at Rayo. He still has a great potential and is one of the candidates to be Real Madrid future goalkeeper.
hes still battling for 1st choise gk
