And now, in this dark steel room, you have your two brothers from another mother, staring down the guns of a few thousand Syrian tanks. The gun thunders, and your hands are already working the breech, loading another shell, praying desperately for enemy to miss, to shoot just wide enough that a lethal hit skitters away, strikes the berm- The gunner crows triumphantly. A hit, a kill, even. You shout that it's loaded and cheer your brothers on. Another blast, distantly you can hear others, and the vehicle shake a little as artillery falls down. @@mrnorthz9373 Nah, I 100% believe it. I generally lean towards Palestine on principle, but I'll be the first to admit that Palestinians and their supporters are perhaps the most irrationally belligerent people on the planet.
7/10/2023, Hamas destroyed the last bit of credibility for the Palestinian people, many countries will still support Palestine but their image is even more tarnished now because of the surprise attack. The Israeli counter-attack will be brutal that's for sure, the 6-day War and the Yom Kippur War has taught us that Israel is not to be fucked around with. I'm not pro Israel or pro Palestine btw, but seeing the situation as an outsider, Hamas definitely fucked up big time, especially after seeing those videos of Hamas holding foreigners captive and raping a captured Israeli soldier, Hamas basically revoked the victim card of the Palestinians, which was the main playing card of the Palestinians for years now. Israel understandably is pissed and if they wanted to, could turn the entire Gaza strip into Bakhmut
That's my sentiment aswell. You can also see many people that did support Palestine completely switched sides. That i think goes into the whole victim card mentality they had, just like you said, they lost it.
The situation is even more fucked than that. The IDF has been indiscriminately killing civilians in the Gaza Strip for years now, and is fully aware and uncaring. The distinction between Hamas and the IDF is, functionally, "the IDF will kill you, Hamas will rape you before killing you." I can link Amnesty International papers on both sides, but the end result is this: the average Palestinian can either stay where they are and die to IDF artillery or Hamas, surrender to a country that hates them, or try to run to Egypt and become one of the lucky 6,000 that might escape to Egypt (keep in mind, 2 million people are facing this choice). No good choices, many bad ones.
Yes and that sucks ass because Hamas aren't an elected government, they won elections in 2006 with 44% of the vote which around 66% of the current population of Gaza was too young to vote in anyways - but you don't see Palestinians speak out against Hamas so actively because there's no proper alternative leadership anywhere to get behind, and they also a bit busy burying their dead (who Hamas are quite happy about because to them all these dead civilians just go to heaven as martyrs) It's just.. the most hopeless I remember it being

I could have sworn i saw the crewman blink numerous times during this. While watching this video, the main rythm of "Hava Nagila" has already gotten into my head as the Israeli Centurion keeps blowing up numerous Syrian T-55 tanks that are just pouring in, putting together a semi-animated combat masterpiece that even my own poetry wouldn't be able to describe no matter how hard i tried. Remember, the less than 100 Israeli tank brigade was outnumbered and fighting for 3 days in the Golden Age of tank combat where modern thermals and fire control didn't exist. The Syrians had raw numbers, but they lacked the skill, something that Israeli tankers had more than plenty of. The enemy's incompetence even went as far as to just blindly charge into the battlefield, so much so that the T-54's, T-55's and T-62's just kept driving by the Israeli tanks. There is a reason why this engagement, and the area in it was called the "Valley of Tears". I've seen tthe "Valley of Tears" series before, and i have to say. Thank you for making this awesome montage.

Based.
That's my sentiment aswell. You can also see many people that did support Palestine completely switched sides. That i think goes into the whole victim card mentality they had, just like you said, they lost it.
it's about to look like Dresden
Yes and that sucks ass because Hamas aren't an elected government, they won elections in 2006 with 44% of the vote which around 66% of the current population of Gaza was too young to vote in anyways - but you don't see Palestinians speak out against Hamas so actively because there's no proper alternative leadership anywhere to get behind, and they also a bit busy burying their dead (who Hamas are quite happy about because to them all these dead civilians just go to heaven as martyrs)
It's just.. the most hopeless I remember it being
As an Israeli, this is like going back in time while I'm sitting on my chair. The amount of the realism is just amazing

"Katyusha" but you're the commander of a Capellan LRM carrier
I made this suggestion as a joke like a year ago, but holy shit this is amazing
