Ngwe Saung Beach is long and wide, mostly very quiet, and generally has only a few people on the beach. This is a beach destination for Burmese families from the capital Yangon, who arrive by car and bus. Some young people come to Ngwe Saung looking for fun too, but not nearly as many as those going to Chaung Tha, Myanmar's real party beach.
