7 years ago , you commented on my page. It still means a lot to me now. This weekend I bought a microphone for recording poetry. And began uploading my spoken word poems. I humbly ask that you listen to my new poems. Let me know what you think. I've had 7 years of refining with the Lord. Love this song. I went to IHOP and heard Jon Thurlow a lot. He was one of my favorites there. Really resonates.
To me: this song is saying... Gods sees all your trials, tribulations, the STORMS BLUSTERING all around " BUT KNOW THAT I AM GOD: I AM STILL HERE IN THE MIST OF THE STORMS" I AM STILL IN CONTROL! SWEET LORD THANK YOU FOR ALLWAYS BEING THERE!

repeat after me.. I love the painted image of Jesus. I take the bible 100% literally and at *face* value.. I do whatever the bible tells me to do even if it goes against common logic. I love to be *crossed* no matter what any one else says. I want to be *saved* .. but no one knows what from.
I love this song. But to think, that you can just say and prayer and instantly recommitted and saved is ignorant. Are end goal isn't supposed to be to go to heaven, that's just a side effect. Our goal is to bring heaven to earth, to show the fathers love to those around us, to live in our lord and be lights to the world. We shouldn't want not "drink" or smoke or whatever just because it may or may not be considered wrong, but because we should want nothing but more intimacy with Jesus, and when that's your mindset, when you truly understand how amazing Jesus can be, then you via instinct, will do nothing to inhibit that.
