Thanks for the video Danny. As always, good advice. I've been raising white homers for a couple of years (2 lofts 40 birds and counting) and I'll be entering the release business this spring. I have learned a lot about health, training, loft maintenance etc from you and many others. A couple questions. Keeping the birds quiet at a funeral is important- do you keep them covered up or kept in individual compartments? Do you allow others to handle or release your birds? Do you sometimes evaluate your fees based on distance? I have too many questions, sorry bout that.

Thanks for your replies. I'm the only person in my area that will be offering a 'release' service. I'm trying to be well prepared and hit the ground running. Your videos and replies over the years have been enormously helpful. I plan on buying your book even tho I'm not racing.

Dans Doves not so good I’m afraid. My birds are really well trained and ready but parties and weddings are non existent due to the Coronavirus. Funerals have been limited to smaller groups. Unfortunately, my whole operation is on pause for a while. Thanks for asking.

@@pomonaflyer6803 Hang in there, hopefully, things will pick up for you. Pomona is So.California correct? There is a lot of competition in that part of the state. I am a member of National White Dove Release Society. Not only are they a fantastic group of folks to be involved with, They also have a google listing at the top of the page so when people are looking for someone for a dove release, NWDRS will come up in their search and if you're a member then people can find you. They can also provide you with advice and great tips on other subjects concerning white dove releases. Without them I would be in your position. I am doing very well with 12 plus bookings in June and July is filling up quickly. I'm not trying to push this group on you or anything but being involved with NWDRS and being a member is a game changer for me.Good luck to you!

Been watching alot of your videos lately. Enjoy them alot. Had a ? N i hope you can help me. Got my son 12 birds. 8 from 1 guy n 4 young ones that never flew from another guy. All homers. The ? Is how long do we have to keep the young ones in the loft before we can let them out to fly. I realize i cant let the mature birds out. Good thing is 2pr are already on eggs. Thx for any advice.

brian david my advice to you brother Brian would be. Train the young ones to get in and out of the loft. Sense they are young you can play around with them. Teach them how to get in the loft and out the loft. Young birds that have not flown before are easy to tame. Like i said, teach them how to get in and out of the loft. You really dont have wait a specific time to train the young ones.
