Never met mines, my dad never saw or supported me in my love for fishing until now, I honestly out fish and know more about the water than anyone that I knew growing up and fished with me, and I stay out on the water longer than anyone I know bc there's always something new to learn. I hate a topwater bite when the big uns are chowing down. I just know that one of these days my heart won’t start up again after stopping for at least 20 seconds each and every blow up🤣🤣🤣 Just watching this video was doing bad things to my ticker. Like watching and reliving the original jaws every other minute lol

Have a great time in my home state of WI. Fishing has been reasonably good for me this year. I was out on my local lake and caught 14 SMB the other day. Most were in the 14” to 16” range, a great day on the water. Safe travels, I hope your WI fishing is awesome!

Question.. do you not throw a senko or fluke or some kind of weightless soft plastic in when they miss your top water lures..? 8 out of 10 times I get them when I do so. Just like you did with the jig. . Awesome video 😊 too! Love then content!
Whenever I miss a fish on a top water like that, I stop everything and drop a plastic worm or lizard or something like that down at the place where the fish hit your top water. I can't tell you how many fish I have caught just like that.
I really wish Bass would make the kayak tournaments more than one day events....it would make a lot more sense especially when you consider the travel time to some of the events. It would show who the better anglers are by having to be more consistent and lower the chances of someone just getting lucky and winning....
@@kristinefischer2289 I've thought about fishing them but in away i feel like it would kinda be wrong.....i fished the bassmastet tournament trail from 2000 to 2005,i went through a divorce and sold everything and quit fishing. Realizing that was the biggest mistake! I should have doubled down and really concentrated on my fishing at the time. But being young and immature i had already made the mistake. I just now started back fishing the last couple of years,out of a kayak..the part that feels a little wrong is that allot of the people fishing those tournaments and fishing out of a kayak in general do it because they love it, i love bass fishing its all i think about and i pretty much go everyday...but i hate fishing out of a kayak and if i ever get to where i can get a boat againi would never set foot back in a kayak...i fish out of one because that all i have, most enjoy fishing out of them. Most people i have met at boat ramps with kayaks always talk about kayaks. The moment they hear me say i hate it pretty much ends the conversation.....

Wisconsin born (1949) living in DFW, went to the expo in Ft Worth....got a pic with KVD, saw that there was a Kayak event at PK.....ugh.....they had been releasing water and three spillways open...the mud probably got all over the lake....why pk...why not Texoma or .....??? PK is stripers and sandies....strange choice out in the middle of nowhere....
That muddy water dirsnt go all the way to the bottom. I bet it was 10 to 12' ft thick I bet the big bass went out to about 18 to 20 ft points just where it started to clear but above the thermalcline.
