Every sentence out of Adams mouth sounds is the only time I’ve ever actually experienced auditory uncanny valley. It’s like I’m listening to a creature trying to mimic human language and can’t quite fully grasp its concept. Truly worthy of being included in the Boney Plays cast list.

He started like a cool char. He is young, but he is leader. He is that shitty anime char that for some reason is the general of an army, but is like 19. But with him, considering someone has to take charge of the situation, you feel like there is a whole backstory behind it. But no, the whiter adult man was the one in charge all along. The boring guy who can't die because he is the one who makes the prepared lines for when you make a quest. Cuz... dammit.

A couple gallons of liquid later and the floor was nearly covered in that area. We did clean it up before they got back, though.

The main character in this game is voiced by the same voice actor as Sonic: Roger Craig Smith. And I think that's neat as fuck I like to imagine it's Sonic running through a zombie apocalypse and he's super jaded and says fuck
I really like dying light. It's super fun with a ton of neat secrets. Like theres a straight up wingsuit locked behind a mario easter egg. It's like what if we made dead island but actually good lol.
Some of the most fun I've had is in this game with the EXPcalibur and charged attacks. Doesn't even matter if it's durability is 0, just pure chaotic ragdolls.
I miss this game. I remember I spent so, so long before even following the story mission... I ran around hoarding everything in sight, and had like 200 of most materials just in storage, and basically was set for the entire game.
"I wish there was the kick mechanic like Dark Messiah" If only you knew Chris. This game does have a kick, if you level up you can even upgrade it to be a jumping dropkick that ragdolls them. The game also had a few events where regular kicks would send the zombies fucking flying too
At first I wondered why they didn't play this game multiplayer, but I actually think I like it better this way. It's much easier to follow what's happening when everyone's looking at the same screen.
This is one of two games I've always wanted them to play. Hopefully they try out prototype also, because that game is basically a PS2 spiderman game with complete freedom and viscera.
I hope Chris plays more of this in his own time. There’s some great easter eggs, the dropkick/ram are super fun, silly NPCs and the enemies get way more interesting.

Even after 7 years, the devs still put out content and community events. The halloween event is live right now! It was just released on Switch, and is an example of ports being handled extremely well. We also have Dying Light 2 coming out in early February! Try this game, you won’t be dissapointed, and what other video games on the market let you drop kick a zombie off a rooftop in first person?
