i just found your channel and im so glad i did youre a huge inspiration and this has given me lots of motivation because i'm egyptian and a medicine applicant, things are very stressful atm but your videos are very reassuring
To be honest, I saw this video a few days ago and I completely ignored it. But right now after giving this a try, I will say this is one of the best videos I've ever watched on any topic!!!
@@luluhalim I have a very important suggestion and question to ask you Lulu... Can I message it over Instagram? Or Whatsapp? This is not quite the best place for it... Please?
Hello ! Love the video just what I was looking for! I was legit terrified that I didn’t have enough time.... nice to know that THIS is the right time to start! (Right?) Thank you! :)
Hi Lulu, thank you so much for your advice! My school predicted my grades at the beginning of year 12 - ABC and I’m aiming for predicted A*A*A when I start applying for ucas in october! Is it possible to achieve this within these few months given that I follow your timetable?
Also i have like 3 subjects... With around 100 pages each when do you think i could finish studying them (exam may June) Also video was soooo good Subbed!
Hey, I would say just see how much content you can go through everyday at a good pace as when you finish depends on how much content you can do, try not to push yourself too much and make sure to give yourself rest days. Ideally, I think finishing at around end of april would be the best so you have time to just focus on practice questions, good luck!💪🏼😁
Hey again I am in the same position right now trying my best to finish before feb ends hopefully 2 and 1/2 months are enough for practice questions and revision
Thank you so much. Even if i end up failing youre giving me hope lol. Super well structured and organised so actually thanks. I nshallah it goes well. And good luck on your med course I wish you the best
Thank you so much ! You are soo inspiring - can i ask when you roughly finished biology content ? I might finish mid feb so is that enough time to practice question from mid feb onwards and did you do the same (as in how many months did you practice questions)
girl! last year i finished the bio as content in mid april, and i had my exams in mid may, so i had 1 month to revise, solve past papers & finalize. it was enough for me to score full ums 120/120
Would you be able to make another one for one month left please or just give me some final tips please? Also you’re very pretty mashallah sister 🥰 Also thank you for this! I’m currently on BBC for bio chem and maths and aiming for A*AA for a levels! I definitely know I can get this but was just wondering if you had any tips, tricks, advice or resources for bio chem and maths specifically?? Thank you so much!!
Thanks for this! Really amazing! Is it enough (after understanding and memorising the content) to just do topic Q's on physics and maths tutor, and then past papers 2017 onwards?
Yup, and with doing past paper questions and topic Qs you’ll be able to see where your weaknesses are or if you’ve forgotten any content and you can then work on that!
Are you doing Cambridge International A-Levels as I think Cambridge International A-Levels have earlier exams and you said that the first exam is in May? For example A-Level Maths exam is at 3 May for Cambridge International in the UK.
man my school will be done for two of my subjects by end of march beginning of april and ive aso just been so unmotivated i havent memorised much idk where to start
For biology and chemistry did you do all the old spec papers ive started to do them :) also when do you think is a good time to start the new spec papers
For chemistry I mainly only used the A level chemistry website for the papers and the aqa website for the new spec ones, so I didn’t exactly do the old spec ones (tho I’m sure many of the questions came from them) For biology, I just used studymind, mme revise, & pmt. In terms of starting doing the papers, there’s no exact time but if you feel like you’ve finished reviewing your subjects and ready to start past papers then go for it! (I started doing whole past papers around 3-4 weeks before the exams)
Hi, firstly I am so so happy that I found your channel. I have a question… I have mocks after February half term and I’m revising for them as much as I can, for example I’m memorising content by blurting and practising questions. I don’t really have notes for all the content as I just go through the book or videos and summarise everything. Do you think it’s a good idea to make notes after my exams in feb which will probably take the whole of March (hopefully still practising questions..) or is this a waste of my time? My school plan in finishing a content before April holidays which I is quite late 😬 my issue is that I feel kind of lost with what I should and shouldn’t do, any help? Some background, I do bio, maths and chem too!
Hey! I think now it would be a waste of time to make notes, I would say for biology I put my notes in the A level biology video which would be helpful + biorevise is quite useful, for chemistry chemrevise is an amazing resource and it has all the notes you need and for math, use the mathbox notes ( I linked them in my maths a level video). Using these premade notes will be a much better use of time, and make sure to do A LOT of practice questions which will be very helpful in understanding the mark scheme. Good luck in your exams!☺️💪🏼
@@luluhalimhow did you use other people’s notes? are you reading them and applying knowledge or making more conscience summaries? or something else? thank you for all the time u invest into helping others 🎉❤
Heya, for interviews I would say make sure you are well versed in the NHS values and constitution principles etc., and the system overall. Also focus on the teaching style of the universities you applied to and the benefits (and negatives) of such teaching style and be ready to answer any questions about it, perhaps if the universities you applied to have a certain topic that they are proficient in / focus on that and mention it as well (for e.g., barts focuses a lot on research so I asked about their research opportunities and mentioned a research project that I did which earned me plus points). Make sure to also look at the main ethical themes that revolve around medicine such as confidentiality, capacity, autonomy, beneficence, etc., as mentioning these in your answers will give you better points. When you don’t know an answer to a question, try and not stress and instead talk through your thinking process even if you end up saying at the end that you’re not sure. These are some of my main tips, hope they are helpful and good luck in your interviews!
it will be a bit tight but if you push yourself and make a good schedule then it should be possible. Make sure however to still include rest periods as you don’t want to burn out during your mocks, Good luck!
I would recommend using the easter holidays to go ahead and finish your content as that will make it less stressful and you’ll have more time for revision, good luck I hope it works out!
Do you think is too late to start I have been really I'll and due to hospital admission I haven't revised do you believe I still have enough time to turn my grades around
I have around 5 months until my a levels i do chem bio and maths do u think there’s enough time for me to do well? I’m not doing too well and idk im just so scared that I’ll flop and disappoint everyone. Idek how to revise well omds im so nervous
Yes definitely 5 months is a very good amount of time! The main things to focus on right now are staying organised and making a good study plan and then sticking to it. I’d mainly recommend you focus right now on consolidating your information / notes and then do topic questions to check what you’re weak / confident in. Continue doing this until you cover all topics and then start doing practice papers and go through the same process :) let me know if you need any more help! Under my biology video I have my notion notes for bio which can be helpful, and for maths id recommend the Chemrevise notes they’re really good!
@@luluhalimI’m in the same situation as the commenter, same subjects too, i know i can get 3 A*s but how many hours a day do u recommend?I know the content but struggle with questions

Hi Lulu❤. I hope this comment finds you well. Can you please help me with online or physical tutors that you recommend. Or UA-camrs that have lessons uploaded. I am learning everything on my own so it's quite hard. Can you help me with that please
Heya, I don’t know too much about online / in person tutoring but I’m sure there should be some tutoring centres around you that cater for A-levels so maybe give those a visit. In terms of online, it depends on your subjects but I really liked Primrose Kitten Academy and Miss Estruch for Biology / Chemistry. Zeeshan Zamurred was also amazing for maths a level so I’d definitely recommend him, I know a lot of people also watched TL maths so maybe give that a try! I hope that’s helpful and good luck!
I tried to do them strategically, throughout the year I would mainly focus on topic papers and would alternate between the different resources. For the full past papers, I would leave those to the end of the year. Also usually by the end of the year I would’ve forgotten some papers that I did so I could still do them again :)
oh that is quite tight T.T I'd suggest starting to look ahead and making notes on topics that you haven't covered as that will give you more time to revise and do practice questions before exams
