Please get michael on more reactions of epic movies like this, he's such a good observer and such a good watch. He feels like one of us all excited to see a movie for the first time like we were in the theaters.
Michael really understands the significance of different cultures or and different genres unlike others who are trying to find logic in fictional movies 😂
Amarendra Bahubali inspired by Sri Ram ji, he's trained in a traditional way, has no obsession with the throne, holds righteousness above anything else, his promise shall not be broken, quite many similarities, even he's a people's king and he's calm and composed, simple personality with deep strength within, which makes people close to him love him more, even after he's gone! Mahendra Bahubali, is more raw, he's not trained like his father, but he has a conscience and he understood his responsibility once he knew about himself! That's what SSR sir told in one interview, Amarendra Bahubali was a little inspiration of Sri Ram ji!
And Mahendra bahubali is kinda like Krishna. Shiv gami holding him above water. His mother being captured by his uncle, being raised by head of a village...@@Sscorpion2029

Kristen is spot on. Baahubali is SSR's magnum opus. It's got layers and a lot of subtle storytelling. A lot of people have dissected many scenes from this movie and you can research about it too.
16:42 Definitely! Unlike his father, while Sivudu (Mahendra Bahubali) possesses brute force, he hasn't had any training whatsoever, which shows in his way of fighting and gives Bhallaladeva a greater advantage.

Man! You should've included some of the beginning parts of the movie, where they show the previous movie frames 13:10... Michael really has beef with Bhalla's dad😂😂😂😂
The Mother-in-law-daughter-in-law dynamics Kristen explained, I never knew that would happen in the western world also. :) This situation is one of the main causes of marital disputes in India.
It's more common in India because the DILs are forced to live with the Husband's parents. Western culture has always been more nuclear in nature. Hence, not that horrible in the west. But yes. It's a very very universal thing 😂
The relationship of bahubali and kattapa is actually wholesome. its deep that how a slave is equally respected b y other people specially from the king is very different.

Kattappa’s character is very much inspired from Bhishma in Mahabharat epic with the unconditional vow to serve the throne, having no personal life and being incontestable in power and military combat. There are a a lot of elements derived from the Hindu epics, such as the ousting of Bahubali and devsena like the vanwas for ram and Sita.
