@Jokesapart This was their statement 3 and a half years ago: To everyone who has been following us these years… Today, we would like to announce the end of a journey that has been absolutely amazing for the last 4 years and one of the most beautiful and intense parts of our life. Although all of our love, dedication and motivation went into ‘Volt & State’, we were stuck in the direction we were heading. After a lot of talks with friends, family and people from the industry, we decided it would be better to end Volt & State with a fantastic show, which we had at Sziget Festival. Saying goodbye to something you worked on with all of your heart is not an easy choice. All of the memories we made will be with us forever, but to stay healthy and develop as a human being sometimes means taking a step in a new direction, to let go of something you’ve given everything for. We will always continue to show our love and passion for music, whether through working in the industry or doing other musical projects. For all the people in the scene, you know where to find us:). We are happy to have been able to share this amazing part of our life with you and we are grateful for all of the love and support we received from you over the years! Martijn and Quirijn We want to thank our family and friends that supported us from the beginning. We know this must have been hard sometimes as we put all our time into music, but know we couldn’t got this far without your support! Special thanks go out to Nick Rotteveel, Jorik van de Pol, Sander Landsaat, Hatim El Khatib, Angeliek Bergsma, Dennis Brugman, Thomas De Raad, Vincent Leijen, Mattijs van Welzenis, Onno van Kemenade, Marc Zwart, Sebastien Lintz, the whole Protocol team, and all the people in the industry that helped us from the beginning to the end.
@@NisharthRajput yeah, this news got me very sad when i read it. I really loved all their tracks. However, one of them still continues to produce music and carries on the Volt & State signature sound. He's Quirijn, but he goes under the name Quentyn
neil thakker if they were underrated they would never make it to Protocol recordings. They are on high position in their world just like Deniz Koyu, Paris Blohm etc. but they arent sellouts releasing tracks every week :)
Zomboy ARG revealed used to be my favorite label back in 2013 and maybe 2014....now it has been boring....hardwell just want to make it bigger by releasing every week 1-2 tracks so he doesnt care so much about quality anymore...i guess
What a shame Volt & State quit... this song is soo good and still forever like this. Powerful emotional progressive house, the best genre❤️ never gets old
I love the song, so melodic and beautiful. I love Volt & State, I love Stadiumx, I love Nicky Romero. In all, I love Protocol Recordings. That's real music. A shame progressive house is not as popular as big room and those mainstream shits
Alesso, Calvin Harris, Garrix etx has had huge prog hits. Apart from that, I dont mind that prog lovers is a distinct group of people, its a warm community :)
It's such an amazing progressive house track, with an incredible drop and such a powerful but melodic build-up. Even if the best thing with Volt & State's tracks is always this wonderful voice which fits perfectly with the track. ;)
FlinnHasslich Yeah this one is great! I heard it on beatport top 100 right now and was suprised :D I think the best tracks of the week are: 3. Borgeous & Mike Hawkins - Lovestruck 2. Volt & State - Sandcastles 1. Waiting For You - Sick Individuals & DBSTF What is yours top 3 or top 5? :) Or top 10 (if you have heard enough new tracks this week)
FLUXBEAM My top 10 would be : #10 Henry Fong & Futuristic Polar Bears - Velocity #9 CamelPhat - Constellations #8 FTampa & The Fish House - 031 #7 Bart B More - Want You So #6 1 RDJ - First #5 Volt & State - Sandcastles #4 DVBBS - Raveheart #3 Borgeous & Mike Hawkins - Lovestruck #2 Firebeatz - Sky High (Tiësto Edit) #1 Sick Individuals & DBSTF - Waiting For You But I'm really surprised we've got the same number 1 though, but in a good way ;)
FlinnHasslich Nice top! :) When hardstyle producers make progressive/big room it often ends up being really creative, melodic and awesome (Like Headhunterz, Showtek and now DBSTF)
I love this progressive house , I think that Protocol recordings give us a epic progressive house that I've ever heard 😍🙌🔥 Someone listening in 2021 ?🤔
+Karthick R No. Same songwriter though. Danny Shah (singer of Lighthouse and Warriors) and Tonino Speciale (singer of this song) have been writing songs together on Protocol recently.
