First Dyno for WASP (2024 PP Mustang GT)

Well we did our first Dyno Day with Wasp and it did not turn out exactly the way I expected. The car is governed at 150 mph And the Rev Limiter is set at 6800 RPM. My car also has 373 gear ratio which may also be a factor in getting to the MPH quicker than the RPM's.

My guess as to why Derek’s stand is making more power is due to it having less rotational mass with the smaller brakes as well as his full 3 inch exhaust.

Did you add some octane boost? That should take care of the knock 90% of the time; may have had bad gas.

I didn't have any on hand but maybe there was a gas issue.

Great video Joel! I have heard it's possible that upgrading to the 20-in wheels and wider tires can take away a few horsepower on the dyno. I upgraded to 20-in wheels also but haven't put the Mach back on the dyno since I got the new wheels.

Possibly, but again it's just a reference point at the moment. Y'all did not see it in my video and I don't know if he has it in his when he releases it but our cars were on the same plane till it got to that part where it took some timing away.
