I'll be heading to NR Lodge in early July, staying at a outback cabin (Gataga ) for a week ,lake trout and pike , any tips on lures would be appreciated,great show
Fantastic to hear James, such an iconic place. Honestly the fish there are plentiful and usually hungry. For Pike try deep diving suspending jerkbaits www.yo-zuri.com/products/archives/26 and weighted swimbaits. We've been throwing the Yo-Zuri 3DB Twitchbait a lot for Pike lately and it's pretty awesome!!! For Lakers the same swimbaits will work and 3-4" white tubes. Maybe bring some long trolling baits like Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnows for both species. Best of luck and enjoy.
The one guy is kinda annoying me oh it’s okay it’s not the big like bro some people haven’t caught a pike bigger than 24-30 inches these are all incredible fish ! Such a shame that you can have such negativity when a lot of us would be so excited to catch those size pike all day long
