So its a fact that with time, as people get busier,
Lives get more hectic and as digital media takes over…
Somehow we humans are ending up more and more lonely.

One of my favorite hacks for this is - to use digital media itself to find new friends!
For this I recently came across the frnd app…
I love that they only ask you for the most basic details, and nothing that feels like an invasion of privacy,no extra information - not even pictures!
Now before getting started, let me tell you,
This is a friendship app for real!
Not one of your typical intimidating dating apps where you have probably already wasted a lot of your time interacting with people and not finding meaningful connections.
This app is very well moderated in terms of safety and security. And for girls especially, I have truly never seen a better managed platform. You can even block the people you don't feel comfortable with, and their own algorithms are working around the clock too, filtering out anyone that may not be okay.
You can communicate privately or in a group setup, and there are RJs who can help break the ice and get conversations started with interesting questions etc.
Personally, I feel that even for someone who has never really interacted much with the opposite gender, in a deep meaningful way, this can be a really good platform to get started. Or even for someone who could call themselves as socially awkward or an introvert, this is the perfect setup, because you literally have moderators helping you have conversations!
I have actually suggested this app to people who are also looking to develop their confidence and personality as well.

There are so many language options, so you can speak in a language that feels most natural - that in itself can be such a good start to a friendship where one can truly be themselves.
And once you have gotten into the rhythm, found some like minded people… it can be so beautiful!
I have personally found myself having some of the most enlightening and soul searching conversations, because privacy is well taken care of and only genuine people end up on this app.. There are people who have opened up to me about their lives, their insecurities, issues, asking for advice, or just moral support….you know heart to heart conversations that really hit home and transform strangers to friends.
Two of my closest friends today are from this app!
