I'd like to see more figures from Revenge of the Sith in the vintage line. Yes considering the premium we pay for these Hasbro should get it right straight away.
Maybe someone from Hasbro will see this video and I'd say a revision is in order paint apps/helmet size. They've done it before with VC 41 so why not this one?
I have painted Han's blaster amongst other weapons in the past with silver acrylic paint on the muzzle etc. it does make the weapons look much more realistic even as tiny as they are. Why Hasbro can't do the same is puzzling, although I wouldn't envy the person who had to paint thousands of them!
Is fantastic to see more reviews, specially if they are clone ones. When this buddy came 3-4 years ago with the 3 ¾ Black Series, i left it one day on the shop and the following day i missed it. I still regret not having bought it. Great video mate!
Hi mate Sweet looking figure but the head is a bit small you are right on that mate. I like the BS version better to be honest mate. Not one I am gonna get since I mainly want to focus on the OT.
lazy paint work on the shoulders? it's clearly meant to be battle damage and wear. they could have added some black score marks on the white armor as well. that's where they got lazy. but you're right about the torso. why can't they get this clone painted right? craziness.
The thing about the shoulder pads is that it just looks like missed paint. The previous version had solid pads with a little nicks and scrapes that looked loads better. Battle damage wouldnt just be at the edge on one side. Just think its lazy all round. Thanks for watching.

Just catching up on this one (3 years late!) - looking at one on Ebay for bids 10.99 plus p&p, and was wondering whether to pull the trigger - or get the BS version? - or maybe get both and kit bash the parts/swop 'em around to create a more screen accurate version? or is there a newer version in the last 3 years (or pipelined)?
It’s a shame they won’t remold that helmet. As we’ve seen with the Death Star escape Han, they’ve gotten much better at doing those and keeping their proportions alright. They’re just using such an old mold, Hell the mold was old when these first started coming out
I'm sorry but this is an absolute embarrassment for hasbro , poorer than usual paint , helmet far too big and the card is so,so . Figs like this make me glad I'm not a completist ! Sorry for the negativity, great honest review tim👍
Not negative at all Gerard. Hasbro need calling out when they are basically being lazy, and I will always call them out if need be. Disappointed with this one especially as Steve Evans himself said 'Third time lucky' and that they had now got him screen accurate.
I wonder if the card art itself is wrong, because I looked online and I saw some clones that have those grey markings on those areas. I love clones so I got this guy regardless.
Hi John, I do know the Sideshow version has a grey belly area but when I watched the film back it was hard to tell whats what. Still a cool figure and like you I am a sucker for Clones. Thanks for watching

Nice packaging as always but I think Hasbro got kinda lazy with the clone trooper figures in general. They have re-used this figure countless times in the past. And yet they can't get it right. The helmet is still too big. If they can do it right with Han solo stormtrooper disguise figure with the proportional helmet and all ,they could do it for this figure if they put in the effort.
Amazing they messed up the paint and the weapon missing silver marking helmet still too big not a bad figure on card but considering how long we waited they should have done better

The recent removable helmets look really good.
Toy technology has come such a long way even in the last ten years.

I think a kit bash is in order. I would probably try to put one of the "non removable helmet" heads on there, as they just look better.
