@@FastSloW-qt8xf i have a better yet true story. i helped supeeman and batman fight crime , however i do not have superpower so i used the indian war club
It's nice to see a company branch out to different areas of the market than what the company usually specialized in. In this case, it's impressive seeing a blunt weapon being manufactured instead of solely producing blades.
The War Club can be used in many different ways. For example a sideways blow is just as deadly, you can use it for legsweeping because of its curved form and if you want you could use it onehanded and have a second weapon at hand. It also has the advantage of being much smaller than the Brooklyn Crusher so you can hide it way better.
Good job in testing these Cold Steel! I'd like to see more tests from your uncommon products. These oddball products are the ones that need the tests the most.
I just got this like 2 weeks ago to replace my wooden one, i had low hopes because i am not a big fan plastic like material. But when i got this i was amazed of the quality. I am very happy with this beast.
Love my war club. More so after sawing the length of the spike in half, filing, and repainting it, so it is more stable (but sacrificing about 1/2" of penetration). Gotta love Cold Steel for their outrageous and unusual tests for their products. lol.
I would like to see the spike from the gunstock club coming off the back side and a more swept handle that a spike or blade can be added on incase the get too close. Would also like to see cast aluminum versions of this and several of their canes and all their axe, spear, and shovel handles and the grip for the Samburu spear, koga and sword trainers.
When I was young, my siblings and I would gather around the floor and look at catalogs and drool over the toys before Christmas. Now I get Cold Steel catalogs and do the same.
@SoSaysI9 its to show how accurate you can be with it...im sure if you show something plowing through a shipping crate and then you show it breaking an egg you don't mean to show its strength
+Fulgrim308 Korean Rapier, German Katana, French Talwar, Scottish Tonfa, Columbian Gladius. Do those sound good to you? You fuck off. It's Native American.
I just bought this for protection for my house(no awkward police questions to answer unlike if i was to use my chop lol)cant wait to get it looks formidable👍thx
Do you suggest this or the Brooklyn Crusher? The Brooklyn Crusher seem more versatile and you can do many different hits with it, The Indian War club is kinda a one trick pony with just a downward power strike.
Hey,quick question... 1st I love the cold steel line, especially the unique weapons like this, the sjambok, gunstock war club, etc. but I have wanted a "spiked bat"for a while and cant buy them.I built my own from a louisville slugger, wood screws and taking off the heads of the screws after in the bat.Actually turned out good/nice looking (Video on here if you search spiked bat)...any chance of cold steel producing a version of the spiked club/bat?
Negative. Doesn't have the leverage, nor does it have the "skull buster" stud on the strike face. Using the claw end of a claw hammer would be a closer but weaker analog.
It's a great defense weapon for many reasons. One, it's a club, so it doesn't require any special training in order for it to be used effectively. Two, Anything you can swing that has some weight can be used as a club, a chair leg, baseball bat, golf club, hockey stick...and all can cause serious injury to an invader. Now, I wouldn't go an substitute a club for a pistol or shotgun, but if a club is all you have, you might as well use it.
This would be useful for someone like me out in the woods. I back country back pack and I carry a saw and an Axe. Plus a knife on my hip and I"m considering getting one of these for the sheer fact that if something gets close enough for me to smack it with this damn thing with as hard as I can swing an axe if its a person its not gonna get back up if I shatter their sternum or if its a bear and I get lucky enough to hit it in the damn head I really doubt its gonna keep persuing me if I'm lucky enough to not get shredded to bits
Don't you think that maybe some steel in the head or perhaps the whole head itself would provide a lot more inertia and thus mass applied to the target than the more lightweight and flexible Polymer? Don't get me wrong i'm not faulting the product, It just seems to give a little bit when struck on hard surfaces.
What would you guys feel about a one handed short-sword. I dont mean to sound like a video game addict, but the iron sword would be a great base design.
@someguyhunter This is way harder to stash. It's a shitload longer and heavier than a knife. A hatchet can be just below this size, up to a foot and a quarter, but be very concealable. This is a giant ball on a stick.
I hate how people don't understand that CS puts out these products at such a reasonable price, and you get A LOT for your money. Jeez, it's probably cause they've never owned a CS product? lol Great Jobs guys, keep it up.
I'd love to work at Cold Steel...I bet work related stress is at a minimum. What's not to like about a job where you get to sit around all day, cut shit up, break shit, etc. Hell yeah
@TheSilentOne50 a blunt weapon is safer and has much higher impact. also it is easier to conceal or carry because it has no edge which means it doesnt require a sheath. it can also be used for less lethal applications. clubs with ball heads hit extremely hard
@Freerideboy2007 A person who needs a weapon maybe? I would buy it. Could be used as a home defense weapon, or secondary home defense weapon, could carry it in your car for extra protection.
@csknives I feel that you should have your test be more comparable so people can see witch are better for them maby have a set of test for swords knifes blunts and throwing because there really hard to see which is better if you just do random tests every time but that's just me P.S. i got a war club it is superb
i have the gunstock war club and the ball headed war club twice(for training)... i love them! i wanted to ask if you will come up with more weapons like these(mace?)? if yes, naturally i will buy them twice! (sorry for my english...)
so the helmet means if you attack someone with a helmet on they better be unarmed and paralyzed or your screwed, you could hit them all day and wont knock them out with that club.
How about an actual gun? Seriously dude, think logically. These weapons are cool and all, but when talking home defense, they're completely unrealistic.
You don't seem to understand blunt force. There was a reason why maces and warhammers became the weapons of war with the advent of plate armor. Substantial blunt force to a helmet is enough to seriously injure or kill somebody.
This tool saved my life a man broke into my house and tried to stab me i blocked it and broke his leg thank u cold steel
kadin henry wow this story sold it to me. I will sell my guns and just carry cold steel
@@FastSloW-qt8xf Why not both?

This convinced me to buy one
That's the cold steel way don't call the cops any more cold steel way.
The egg convinced me. I'm sold!
Lol I thought that was so silly lol
It's nice to see a company branch out to different areas of the market than what the company usually specialized in. In this case, it's impressive seeing a blunt weapon being manufactured instead of solely producing blades.
Could you imagine how fun it mush be to work for cold steel
The War Club can be used in many different ways. So powerful that it can crack an egg
Wagner Bros. Almost crack it
It cracked that egg twice lol.
I love that hip-hop weapon thrower :D :D :D

Well if we ever get attacked by an army of pallets we know just who to call.
You will be set when they call watermelons for back up even!
The real threat is when they call in the eggs for air support

The two handed great sword is by far my favorite of all of cold steels products. I plan on getting one ASAP.
Love my war club. More so after sawing the length of the spike in half, filing, and repainting it, so it is more stable (but sacrificing about 1/2" of penetration).
Gotta love Cold Steel for their outrageous and unusual tests for their products. lol.
The curved handle and the blunt spike also make it a great back scratcher.
I love these videos. Lynn is a big guy, but he moves gracefully and he always hits his mark.
You should replicate the Aztec war club, now that would be sick
The indian war club, the perfect addition to your knife collection...

Hi, could this be used for hunting. Like a rabbit stick?

I'm more scared of that guy in the black shirt and tie at the end than I am of the war club!
he is sick!!! mental institution cryes for him...
That would be Lynn Thompson, the president of Cold Steel. He is large and in charge and cooler than either of us.
You should be...

2:40. Holy "cow"! If we had skulls that thick we wouldn't need helmets. That's the one thing that stood up fairly well to this club.

Is that flat piece on the ball considered the spike? Or it there a different attachment?

yes... but will it blend?

I need one. Big fan of cold steel. Have a few beauties aswell. Nice video subscribed ✌️😎👏
how about making a heavy tettsubo/spiked club sort of a think out of polypropylene or perhaps even some of your nice swords?
I'd trust it. And smashing skulls and limbs just seems funner to me than cutting limbs off. You gotta get messy.
It looks cool but how much of this can you do with the bat or a piece of steel pipe?
Well keep in mind those are improvise weapons well this is made to be a Weapon.
Do u guys teach classes on how to use these more exotic weapons
wow! amazing! it does just the same as a hammer! can you believe that!
ur neighbors must absolutely love u!
I hav never seen so many people look badazz with their shirts tucked in❤😂well dun yall
Good evening, I am a representative of the NAACP, and my people are concerned about all of the watermelon cruelty at Cold Steel. Thank you.
After an hour of watching CS videos, I have concluded this: If it is a tangible object, Cold Steel has a solution for it.
@comedymasters1092 it doeasnt however work properly on edged weapons,
however your probably right in regards to more blunt force impacts.
Is this recommended for home defense? I can't buy a gun since my parents won't allow me, but they'll buy me a club since im always home alone.
I've been wanting to make knives and swords, badly, do you think you could help in any way?
Question; was this used by people in India or Native Americans?
@WaterPocket they were pretty raw and you are right i dont wanna be hit with that club jeez
I'm surprised that you guys haven't made a Bo Staff from your polypropylene? I bet it would be awesome and would sell well!
Sweet! You guys freakin' rule!
***** What about a Flamberge?

why don't you guys make a Gallagher/Mario Bros Cold Steel hammer?

I live in "progressive" Europe, our options are kinda limited.. :/
just get a bat
PLEASE make a version of the kpinga (also known as "hunga munga"). it is an awesome central african throwing knife.
i'd buy one.
